im trying to figure out why nobody plays ut3 mods online. Such a nice engine!
It's quite unfortunate that hardly anyone plays UT3 online.
because ut3 is crap after a week of playing. The engine is nice and all but most consumers dont actually mod or even know about ut3 mods
I would play it if I could find my disk.
I agree that I just finally got UT3 just for all the MODs that are coming out. However, I waited until UT3 was dirt cheap since I really didn't like the actual game. Its ashame to hear not many play online since I am just about to jump into the UT3 mods. Well you can count one more ;)

AFF Planetstorm and Renegade X, Maybe someone could set up a server and tell everybody or invite them to a UT3 mods server group, so you always now, when everybody is playing...
i honestly prefer the first 2. i just wish ut 2k4 wasnt taken over by custom crap

I wish they wouldn't link sodding Fileplanet downloads. I want to know about the things before downloading them...
because it's a mod contest not a website contest. i'd assume if it's this far in the comp it's worth the dl...
The contest is set up so that when you upload to the Make Something Unreal site for your submission, it's uploaded to FilePlanet. A lot of mods also upload to alternative sites, but you may need to check the mod's page or release threads on sites like Beyond Unreal to find them.

It's a shame a bunch of these mods don't seem to have a descriptive site or something somewhere. I mean, unfortunately, my internet connection isn't fast enough that I'm willing to download half a GB just for idle curiosity.

Oh man, I played the "Hazard: The Journey of Life" mod... It's amazing. So fun and just an awesome concept all together. I wish they had a ModDB page. I give it a 10/10 with infinity gold stars.
I really hope you guys win. Your mod has so much potential gameplay wise. If the music and visuals are any indication as well, Airborn is more than just another mod, it's a milestone for the modding community.

I'm glad you liked the game. Unfortunately, I never made a moddb page for the game because I never felt it was quite "finished". I'm still working on it, and would give it a moddb page if I thought it needed one, but never got around to it. Too many bugs for my liking. I'm aiming to hopefully have something with the same gameplay but fewer bugs and more optimisation by the end of October.
i dunno why so many are complaining about UT 3, the game is so much fun, and the mods for the game is great

The Ball, The Haunted, Renegade X (Though may not win since it's a recreation mod), and AFF... Though I will say I have yet to play warmgun so that may be one that I think could win...
i think the next haunted update should add weapons. maybe another weapon class. an axe in between the knife and chainsaw, an m8 automatic rifle in between the ak and the m60... maybe hand explosives for another class; like molotoves/pipe bomb/grenade/better grenade/.. something like that. anyone else feel the same way?

I think it has something to do with my router and portforwarding
but when I setup the port.... it just deletes my settings and goes to standards :(

I really hope renegade x dont win.
In fact i think its pretty much impossible for them to win, recreation mods cannot win a cash prize...It would be unfair on the other mod teams.
I mean, if renegade x win, they cant exactly go retail with their game. (They could pay EA the money and hope EA say yes...LOL)
I hope haunted win, it was the most fantastic experiance i have had in survival horror for a long time. I loved it.

its gotta be aff. ive played all of them, and i have to say im the most impressed with the production values on aff, the ball and ut3 space was cool too. my vote is for aff, and i hope they make it all the way.
