Nov 13, 2009 Full Version 2 commentsWe are happy to announce the release of Coda v0.4 for the Sony PlayStation 3. Remember to completely remove any older version of Coda on your PS3 before...
Coda is a modification of Unreal Tournament 3 which focuses on thoughtful, unforgiving, competitive, fast paced and stylish gameplay. It will provide several interesting systems which players will have to use in harmony in order to defeat their opponents. Initially the mod will focus around an original sword fighting system based on mouse movements. Next magic and psionic energy systems will be implemented, and tightly integrated into the sword fighting gameplay. Coda will feature a player control system which borrows mechanics from fighting games such as Guilty Gear. Several maps and completely original characters are planned. Stay tuned for frequent updates, this mod is currently under rapid development.

i am thinkin to get UT3 for this but is this mod Active online? and is there Europe servers?
Due to the high cost of server rentals, we just shutdown our European server. If you know of any companies that are willing to sponsor a Coda server in Europe, let me know and I'll get into contact with them. Hopefully we can get a new server going for European players.
I can't install the mod. Here's a screenshot of the error I get: I83.photobucket.com
Your download might have been corrupted somehow. Try grabbing the direct download from Codamod.com . Let me know if it still gives the same error.
I have only one complaint about the new version. I can't see the characters when I'm in game or trying to edit them. I also have a ton of errors pop up when I start the game. Right now I really can't enjoy the game as much as I have in the previous versions. If possible can someone tell me how to fix this issue?
okay I downloaded a previous version and got the same problem so it must be something wrong with my UT3 install or something. I keep getting UPK error messages. (e.g. something wrong with mule.upk or something like that) I don't know what the problem could be. I downloaded other mods and they work fine.
Just to update this thread, we figured this one out on the forums at Codamod.com . It seems the original phase 1 Coda Sword/Mule mutator can cause duplicate package problems if installed along with any later version of Coda. Make sure to remove the original Mutator or you can install the mutator to its own mod folder if you want it to coexist with newer versions Coda Mod.
I haven't seen this problem before. Can you run the mod and then send your log file to the email 'bugs AT codamod.com' along with a little description of the problem? I'll take a look at it and see if I can figure out what is going on.

Thanks for the report and sorry I didn't reply sooner.
Game looks nice but its hard getting used to it. At least this is my opinion.
Well, just to toss in my 2 cents, with UT3 mods accessibility is a big issue. Not everyone is willing to figure out the installation process, that's if they bought the game in the first place. (Evident from some of the comments here too.) So even though it's ridiculous it doesn't support PS3 ports, you might want to do a UDK version.
Also, stay on the front page. Keep doing media updates even if it's small features, status updates, or just team member blogs. More eyes seeing "Coda" the better. Best of luck!
