In Steam Racers - a mod for Unreal Tournament 3 - you get to experience the joyful madness of steam punk in a completely new way. With four unique steam-powered vehicles, players must either race or fight their way to victory or choose any route in between. Gun down your opponents with the tank-like Scotch Boiler, navigate easily with the floating Futuramobile 1900 or outrace the competition with the most unique invention of them all, the Monowheel. Buy upgrades to improve your weapons, armor and speed, lure enemies into deadly traps, disrupt progress with the magnetic and flame mines or take control of the powerful stationary turrets for ultimate damage.

After months of hard work, we are now releasing the newest version of Steam Racers, a steam punk combat racer, where you must either fight or race your way to victory in a crazy collection of steam-powered vehicles.
With version 3.0 we are now offering four different game modes (the classic Steam Racers, Gentlemen's Speed Pursuit, Aristocratic Atrocity and Baron of the Tank), four unique and exciting maps (Trail of Torment, Desert Loop and the two newcomers, Crystal Garden and Island), the four original vehicles, a custom steamturret and the Baron-exclusive Steamobile and much, much more. In addition, for version 3.0 we also have completely new sound effects, music, a revamped HUD and tons of tweaks, additions and fixes.
We highly encourage everyone to download the game and try it out on one of our dedicated servers, but you do still need a version of Unreal Tournament 3 to play it, although we will investigate the possibilities of releasing it as a standalone game through UDK.

PS3 cook? Maybe even for at least a vehicle mutator?

PS3 cook isn't going to happen. While UT3 *does* support total conversions, it's not friendly to them. For example, it doesn't support at all non UT3 sound effects. Blehhhk
Any idea on what time span the UDK release wud take?
An UDK port will take a while.
The biggest hurdle is to create assets for all used UT3 content (static meshes). We will start working on this in 2010 (after exams).

You should make this UDK. more people would download this and play it, so whats the problem?

Thar isn't a server issue its just no one wants to run them. I ran a server the 1st day it was out and I got 2 others played for 4 or 5 hours.
ill run a server tomorrow or wednesday some time after 4p.m. eastern time depends on what I'm doing

well im not going to run the server unless i get 2 replies that people that really want to play. (not runing it for a no show)(server only holds 10)
