The Ball is an indie singleplay action/puzzle game, running on Unreal Engine 3, for PC. The expected release date is spring 2010. The project started out as a mod for UT3, but has since gone stand alone.

The Ball is an innovative action adventure game with six hours of singleplayer gameplay.
Playing from a first person perspective, you solve puzzles and crush monsters with a large physics driven ball, manipulated by the pushing and pulling forces of an ancient device.
As an archaeologist working on the slopes of a dormant volcano somewhere in Mexico, you get stuck in an underground Cavern. It doesn't take long before you realize this is more than just a cave. You reveal ancient ruins that have been hidden from outsiders for centuries and discover a mysterious artifact, a gold and metal shelled Ball. As you venture deeper into the volcano, you reveal some of mankind's greatest secrets...

I've installed this mod completely but the "The ball" bar in Desura's "Play" show "not ready", do I miss something
I remember this game when first time i played it as seperate version not long from now... Can you tell me how to install this mod..'cause I've tried to run it and something wrong happended, Unreal Tournament always run instead...I want to play this mod once again, please help

one question must you use UDK to make your mod/game stand alone or can i use the unreal editor that comes with UT3 to make my mod/game stand alone?
No you must have one of the games to make a mod for it
The Ball team is using the UDK for the stand-alone version.
