Welcome to ModDB TV, a monthly video feature which brings you all of the new (and updated mods) released to play over the past month in an easy to digest video format. Sit back, grab some popcorn, and tune in to spotlight - the easiest way to find cool new mods and games to play... Watch for updates and join this group or tune in to our Youtube channel.
Also each month in the video we shall be handing out the ModDB "staff selection" award to the mod/game we find most enjoyable! To enter all you need to do is make sure you release your game or a decent update (so guys don't be skimping on the content!), and make sure it gets onto the Mod DB front page (for more info on how to make sure your news gets there click this link), its that simple!
After your mod gets the royal front page treatment I'll be downloading it and recording myself smashing it up in your prized creation, the footage will then be placed into a video at the end of the month for everybody to see! Think of it as free advertising, but you still need to put the hard work into making your mod the best it can be!
One busy busy month for ModDB, take a look and see what you have missed!

September was one hell of a month with 12 Mods on the Spotlight, a new record! So you can be excused if you have not played all the releases! Don't worry my modding pals ModDB has you covered!
Till next time mod away my good friends and watch this group for updates.
My your voice is high pitched this month Dave. Nah, thanks to Monique from The ISOTX team Moddb.com for helping improve the feature a great deal this month.
Also awesome to see 10+ notable releases this month, great to see things heat up before the end of the year.
I liked a female voice on this, it seemed to fit better. Good job to all those mods this month.
The female narrtor could do a really good C&C 95 styled voice of Eva :P
Very nice Spotlight, going to take a look at PURE :>
Sweet nice feature :D i wish you the best of luck, i have gotten a copy of crysis now and im gonna try out some mapping :D
Is that music from X32I their own? It's awesome!
It's not Crysis music, but it is licensed music from Pierre Gerwing Langer...
It wasn't cheap put it that way... :P
all those mods look awesome. including Slipstream :P
Slipstream looked pretty neat, even though the video of it had about 2 frames per second...
I dont think you know what 2 frames a second looks like.
i do, i tried playing crysis on a laptop with 128mb graphcs card, and 510mb of ram.....ohh yeah
I laughed. Freaking Crysis and its system requirements.
Got a nice line up mods this year looking great. Looking so forward to playing Slipstream :D
What? What the hell? Where's the aussie voice? I WANT THE AUSSIE VOICE! GET HIM BACK NOW!
Also nice mods :D Great lineup this month.
P.S. If the narrator's not AUSTRALIAN next month, there'l be... Probably not much to deal with, but at the very least another post from me complaining! So, yeah... Dave wrocks.
ahaha that made my day mate kudos!
If it's a Female Aussie voice then It'll be very Mercenaries 2
Great video, great mods! Most impressed by the look and feel of Fragging Free. Great job on the voice over by Monique too :D
YAY monique, Slowly taking over the gaming world from her base here at ISOTX!
Nice :D
good job guys!!
I like these videos
Monique, your voice......I think i'm in love.
nice to see a HW 2 mod on the spotlight. when is the modcast?
Not till the end of the year.
id have to admit modcast is the best tv ive ever watched
Cool, didn't realise they really had a mod spotlight. Moddb is by far my favorite site I use for mod related stuff, and the first place to get the latest on what I'm working on. Too lazy to post the same thing on 300 sites ¬¬.
It's hard enough to keep my self motivated making a MOD like X32I, but things like these do help :).
Best video spotlight so far! Star Trek Legacy - aftermath looked really cool, to bad I dont have that game...
Movie Battles looks ace!
Wow a load of **** mods :\ Fortress Forever is good but tbh just play TFC.
