C&C: ShockWave is an enhancement mod for C&C Generals: Zero Hour.
The main goal of this mod is to make Zero Hour a more interesting game with more diversity between the generals, making you think twice before you select a certain general, and overall provide more choices, diversity, and strategic freedom than in Zero Hour - while keeping the spirit and design direction of the original Generals game and storyline.
ShockWave will include 3 new Generals in version 0.95, over 100 new units, tons of new structures, upgrades and maps, a fully working navy, and many other gameplay tweaks. ShockWave also provides completely custom made sound effects and music, new in-game weapon effects and visuals, bug fixes, and an improved battlefield overview with a higher viewpoint.
The 3 new generals - Deathstrike, Ironside and Leang will get their own general's challenge maps, and we will implement their voices, taunts and personality as EA intended. The Navy will be added in version 1.0, however that's only accessable on special Navy-compatable maps, because you can't have a Battleship in a pond. There is currently no AI for the three new generals, but they will be added eventually.
The next release will be version 0.96; as version 0.952 has been larger than expected and thus has been renamed 0.96 and will be a full release instead of a patch. The next version will fix some of the balance and redundancy issues with 0.951. It will also as add some new units and fix some bugs. Whether the new AI will be added in the next release has yet to be determined, but work is being done for the AI of the new generals as well as fixes to the old ones.
ShockWave runs closed and open beta versions, and we strive to preserve balance between all the different factions to make sure the game is equally enjoyable online and offline. Bug hunting is top priority for us as well, and ShockWave is one of the most stable mods out for Zero Hour. Even so, Shockwave is still a Beta, and there are bound to be bugs we haven't found yet.

Hello ShockWave fans,
It's full steam ahead now as we edge closer to the release of the new version. To ease the time between waiting, today we are take the wraps off of one of the new units and and an upgrade that we are sure you're going to have a blast - or dare I say many blasts? - with.
Time to put on your lead underwear. Fresh off the production line and first up is the new Tactical Nuclear Missile upgrade for General Tao's Overlord.
This upgrade was developed in response to a case our Balance Team put forward regarding the lack of customisation for Tao's Overlord. The Tactical Nuclear Missile upgrade will equip the Nuclear Overlord with a sensor array and two large missile hatches on its back. This new M.A.D. weapon will allow the Overlord to spread deadly levels of radiation across considerable distances, while the array will assist the Overlord in the detection of hidden enemies.
Next up is the GLA Demo General's long-awaited Toxin Tractor replacement.
The paradoxically named Camel shrapnel launcher is not as innocuous as its name suggests, and is not one to be mocked or trifled with. Like its predecessor the Camel will have a specialised role in the General's arsenal. Field tests show the unit to be competent at dispatching infantry out in the open and in garrisons with relatively no resistance.
As always we are as excited about the prospect of getting all of the new content into your hands as you are and remain committed to delivering a quality product. With that said, that just about wraps up this update. We hope you enjoyed it.
Till next time, General.

What is the name of the program wich you are using to create models, tanks etc...
Pls reply.
I wonder if you could do some work with the infantries.
Like making it more detailed, perhaps?
We are not planning to make the infantry more detailed. We've always wanted to keep the Generals style as well as it's performance on lower-end comps, thus we've always stayed within the unspoken polygonal limits pertaining to specific unit classes.
it ain't comming out 'till the world ends. =o
Any News on 0.96 release date?
when will coame out?
comming soon hahahah joke =,=
poop. i was looking forward to quality naval combat. navals that aren't RA3.
Indeed, the only other notable RTS that has naval combat is Supreme Commander, and the units in Supreme Commander are pretty much straight out of the stereotypical futuristic arsenal.
Realistic near future naval combat would be interesting and very difficult to balance on the GLA side. Although a bomb truck version of a boat would seem like a natural equalizer. Perhaps even WW2 style Japanese midget subs? Designing all of the GLA and Chinese naval units from scratch is a daunting task and, I'm sure, isn't top on the priority list right now. It won't stop me from dreaming though....
