C&C: ShockWave is an enhancement mod for C&C Generals: Zero Hour.
The main goal of this mod is to make Zero Hour a more interesting game with more diversity between the generals, making you think twice before you select a certain general, and overall provide more choices, diversity, and strategic freedom than in Zero Hour - while keeping the spirit and design direction of the original Generals game and storyline.
ShockWave will include 3 new Generals in version 0.95, over 100 new units, tons of new structures, upgrades and maps, a fully working navy, and many other gameplay tweaks. ShockWave also provides completely custom made sound effects and music, new in-game weapon effects and visuals, bug fixes, and an improved battlefield overview with a higher viewpoint.
The 3 new generals - Deathstrike, Ironside and Leang will get their own general's challenge maps, and we will implement their voices, taunts and personality as EA intended. Part of ShockWave's intent is to clean up EA's rushed release job and let people enjoy the game the way it was meant to be.
The Navy will be added in version 1.0, however that's only accessable on special Navy-compatable maps, because you can't have a Battleship in a pond.
ShockWave runs closed and open beta versions, and we strive to preserve balance between all the different factions to make sure the game is equally enjoyable online and offline. Bug hunting is top priority for us, and ShockWave is one of the most stable mods out for Zero Hour.
Drop by our highly active forums to get tech support, suggest ideas for further development, and have a matchup with other ShockWave fans online!
Please Don't ask for the release date, or even an estimate, as there is never a release date.

Hello shockwave Fanatics.
As of today we have a new part of our team which is the ShockWave balance team. This balance team will be lead by ReLaX a well know ZH Clan player from Gamereplays.org. ReLaX is also part of the team that designed community patch for zerohour.
We all expect great things to come from him and his balance team but he still requires help in form additional players to join his effort of balance testing.
If you want to become part of the balance team please apply in this forum to join the balance team. All applications should be done before 26th January GMT 16:00.
(note: that becoming part of the balance team does not mean you will get the same previlages as ShockWave Beta testers as you will simply test the public versions of shockwave for balance.)

Currently in need of experienced China players.

Hey does any one know WHERE IN THE WORD ARE THE CAMPAINS?? i really liked them in the .93 version. man, i really like the campain levels with the Shockwave mods. will they ever be back with the SW mods??
Thanks
do you going to make a new update ?
Note any time soon, sadly.
Why the computer doens't works with the new generals? And when your team will fix this 'bug'
It's not a bug, it's just the new AI isn't done yet. (and thus hasn't been released).
If you really want to know where the SWR Team has gone you may want to check out Shockwave's sister mod, Rise of the Reds:

We've been working hard and you can expect many features from Shockwave here and the best thing about it, we're getting close to a release. For those who remember this mod, the Shockwave team has taken control of the project and revived it. Check us out!

NergiZed, PLZ DO SOME UPDATE \.

Ok, I'm a beta-tester and here's how things work in the SW team. Ideas, bugs, balance issues get discussed, planned and implemented. A new dev version gets pumped out every 1 to 3 weeks. Bug-testers find bugs, balance-testers find balance probs. When enough units are added, or enough time has passed, an update is posted. Repeat the process.
Here's the scoop now: the last dev version was 3 months ago. Thus there is nothing to be updated on, as nothing has happened.
I would love to post an update, but it's just not gonna happen for a while. Shockwave is hibernating, and will most likely awaken when RoTR gets out the door.
