C&C: ShockWave is an enhancement mod for C&C Generals: Zero Hour. The main goal of this mod is to make Zero Hour a more interesting game with more diversity between the generals, making you think twice before you select a certain general, and overall provide more choices, diversity, and strategic freedom than in Zero Hour - while keeping the spirit and design direction of the original Generals game and storyline.

Awesome! Thanks to everyone on the Shockwave mod team. This is an excellent piece of work and you should all be proud.
At first thanks for the shockwave model made group,but i feel pity that shockwave1.1 have serious bug.
If you play it use china,you will find all the chinese huge tank(Emperor Overlord)can not shot to infantry by their cannon and sometimes
they can not fire to vehicle by cannon very well. if the Emperor Overload meet three RPG man.I guess the huge tank can't resist to them until it is be destroyed unless the huge tank update missile or scatter-gun.
I do wonder to correct the problem if i can.but i just a player.
I Don,t know the technique detail. I hope mod group can solute it.
I support your work.if you are busy,tell me how to do,how to modify?

I'm glad that the other unit is very nomal,very wonderful.

he`s saying that there is a bug in the shockwave mods.... when you use the emperor overlord tank... it can`t shoot.
It can shoot at tanks on his game though,so I dont see the problem
No no no I think he's saying the emperor can't shoot infantry when they get close. Personally my biggest problem is the lack of AI for the three new generals.

what can you do if you cant delete a previous mod you downloaded though? should i just reinstall the game and then try shockwave?
perhaps, if you know the files the mod alters, then you can delete em, unless they over-write a existing file... then you have to delete EVERY THING and then reinstall completely ;)
you are wrong im playing 3 different mods all of them work and original zh as well
some mods conflict not all

delete your cnc ZH folder and if you have a repair button use it to
re-install CnC ZH with out mods.works every time for me
jsyk, if anyone has installed contra, no other mod will work. so reinstall zero hour or find the files to be deleted. please don't negative karma me, i'm trying to help, not promote contra.
maybe You can try using some kind of Mod manager?
Have you tried making copys of the ZH generals folder and post your mods there? D:

Romeo, this is the shockwave forum. for questions about other mods go to their page. also, since the mods seem to collide i suggest you only use shockwave.

There is a mac compatible download availible the "Un supported no installer" version.

i am new to mods and i cant get it downloaded. the 1.0 says that i cannot copy the map to the section I want it to be and the 1.1 says: YOU INSTALLED IT IN THE WRONG FOLDER YOU MORON!!
i`d like to add something to that:
WTF IS THE MOFO WRIGHT FOLDER THEN!! I downloaded it in 10 different places, but I am sure there is a much simpler way, but what!
P.S. the read me file isn`t a very big help to: `follow the instructions`

Okay first off, can you at least download it alright? If you've got it downloaded, run the installer, and when it asks where to put the mod, hit browse and select your Zero Hour folder. Then it should install fine.

great job!
I and my buddies have been playing C&C Generals and Zero Hour regularly on lan-parties since it came out. It got a bit repeatative and then we found out about Shockwave... and since then we could not imagine living without it anymore.
SHOCKWAVE KICKS *** AND IS A MARVELOUS EXTENSION TO THE C&C UNIVERSE - EA seems not to be willing to release a sequel to C&C Generals. But that does not matter since we found Shockwave and came to love it.

is there smt wrong with the download? i've downloaded it (the 251MB one), and the .exe file are named shw_11.exe, but the read me said that "If you're reading this you're probably downloaded ShockWave 1.0", and after installed, i see no difference, everything is the same as 1.0
nvm, just do a clean install and everything work :)
Is there a way to play the mod in full screen? When I play the mod it will crash on start up unless it is played in windowed mode wich play perfect.
However, aside from that one little hangup, this mod works wonderful.
i got it to run in full screen by launching it using the quickstart option. from start,C&C generals shockwave, Shockwave (quickstart) that should work
