C&C: ShockWave is an enhancement mod for C&C Generals: Zero Hour. The main goal of this mod is to make Zero Hour a more interesting game with more diversity between the generals, making you think twice before you select a certain general, and overall provide more choices, diversity, and strategic freedom than in Zero Hour - while keeping the spirit and design direction of the original Generals game and storyline.

Well everyone the day you have all been waiting for the .93 release day :D Anyways we have a lot of not seen before goodies within this release and also a lot of improved models of original ZH/Gen units you can check out all these new things in the image gallery and and forgive me for not writing up everything about them because it's to many fore me to write all down. Just Download and enjoy. Note: NOT required for 0.95

Nop, just install it in your ZH directory. Then use the SW launcher to play SW and the ZH shortcut (your original) to play ZH
Hey i just downloaded SW95_Beta and when i got to install it gets to 9&#xna;nd then the Download freezs what am i doing wrong?
do i need .93 or older than that version to install the latest?
or just download the latest and install it??
you have to install 93 if you want 95 then of course u need 95 for 951

There ARENT new generals, the old ones only have been changed.

I HAVE AN OLDER VERSION OF SHOCKWAVE ON MY COMPUTER AND IT IS AWESOME, IT KICKS ASS. THIS NEW VERSION LOOKS MUCH BETTER WITH ALL THE NEW UNITS AND STRUCTURES AND I CANT WAIT TO DOWNLOAD IT ONCE MY COMPUTER IS FIXED. ANYONE WHO LOVES COMMAND AND CONQUER GENERALS ZERO HOUR GIMME A HELL YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's easy to install. Don't use the installer they give you. You don't need it. This will work for craxxed versions too.
Just extract the ".gib" file into your Zero Hour directory, and then rename to ".big". It's that simple.
When you don't want to play anymore, just rename it back to ".gib" or the like.

this is a hard mod to get working but once you get it its very good. but i have a question what 3d imaging and modeling program did you use? i wish to help making my own mods but i don't have any

im lost on how to download and install mod to zh folder. what do i do?
Make sure you have C&C Generals and C&C Generals ZH. Then download Shockwave 0.93, go to the top of the page, or go to shockwavemod.com, to download it. After downloaded extract the .gib file into the ZH directory and rename it .big
Then click on the shortcut and click launch...

i downloaded it and extracted the file to the zero hour directory, when i click the launcher this 5 button menu comes i do as the read me file told me to, when it starts it gives me technical difficulties...how can i fix it i have been following up the work of general zero hour mod lately and i like what i read about it and all the specs of it, if u can help me in this problem what should i do to make it work.

NOTE-go to the maker's website and either way, you need Zerohour 1.04, which you pple didn't use. LOL

It's been killed. Microsoft ordered them to stop the mod since they are making Halo Wars. Since then the mod had been revamped to Aurorus, or something like that (don't really remember the name).
