C&C: ShockWave is an enhancement mod for C&C Generals: Zero Hour.
The main goal of this mod is to make Zero Hour a more interesting game with more diversity between the generals, making you think twice before you select a certain general, and overall provide more choices, diversity, and strategic freedom than in Zero Hour - while keeping the spirit and design direction of the original Generals game and storyline.
ShockWave will include 3 new Generals in version 0.95, over 100 new units, tons of new structures, upgrades and maps, a fully working navy, and many other gameplay tweaks. ShockWave also provides completely custom made sound effects and music, new in-game weapon effects and visuals, bug fixes, and an improved battlefield overview with a higher viewpoint.
The 3 new generals - Deathstrike, Ironside and Leang will get their own general's challenge maps, and we will implement their voices, taunts and personality as EA intended. Part of ShockWave's intent is to clean up EA's rushed release job and let people enjoy the game the way it was meant to be. The Navy will be added in version 1.0, however that's only accessable on special Navy-compatable maps, because you can't have a Battleship in a pond. There is currently no AI for the three new generals, but they will be added eventually.
The next release will be version 0.96; as version 0.952 has been larger than expected and thus will has been renamed 0.96 and will be a full release instead of a patch. The next version will fix some of the balance and redundancy issues with 0.951. It will also well as add some new units and fix some bugs. Whether the new AI will be added in the next release has yet to be determined, but work is being done for the AI for the new generals as well as fixes to the old ones.
ShockWave runs closed and open beta versions, and we strive to preserve balance between all the different factions to make sure the game is equally enjoyable online and offline. Bug hunting is top priority for us, and ShockWave is one of the most stable mods out for Zero Hour. Even so, Shockwave is still a Beta, and there are bound to be bugs we haven't fonud yet.

Please Don't ask for the release date, or even an estimate, as there is never a release date.
NOTE: Currently most of our team is working on another mod, Rise of the Reds, consequently there will be a lot less media updates. Work on Shockwave has resumed to a small degree though.
NOTE: If you ask any tech support questions in the comment box, they will be deleted. Get support at the offsite forums instead. Before you ask, remember this: try a clean install first. (make sure there aren't any files left behind after the uninstall)
- The install order is for the latest version is: Gen. > ZH > ZH 1.04 patch > SW v0.95 > SW v.0951 patch
* If your using The First Decade, you need not install the 1.04 patch as TFD comes with it.

Radio silence is broken at last. It has been a few months since the last transmission, but I bring you good news that the war effort in the west goes well. Reinforcements have arrived and the Red ShockWave Army will soon rise again and march on till the End of Days. Work on the 0.952 patch goes on behind the scenes. This patch will upgrade your combat software with new units, sound effects, maps, voices, model refinements, and further improve the balance between the 15 factions. Some minor adjustments have been made to popular existing 1 vs 1 and 2 vs 2 maps to improve online play.
Today we have prepared for you a special treat. To ease the pain of waiting we are taking the wraps off the Tank General's new Advanced ECM Tank model.
Born out of necessity, this support vehicle was the perfect answer against enemies of the PLA that like to exploit the Tank General's fatal weaknesses: speed and an answer to ranged weapons. Its presence is feared and loathed by enemy generals on the battlefield. The Advanced ECM Tank, aptly named 'The Harpoon' by Kwai's tank crews, can paralyze the largest of threats in seconds, allowing his armor to roll up and finish the job unchallenged.

i 4got... juhziz should get katyusha with HE rockets whereas deathstrike gets the BM-21 Grad. Same truck as current katyusha, but with BM-21 Grad rockert launcher.
GLA general deathstrike should get airfield with MiG-21 and Su-22. Also the Nuke MiG Bomber should use the Q-5 bomber model instead of the current one, as it looks more like a space fighter to me.
The new generals will have a functional AI In 0.96 version???
AI work is being done, the internal dev team has very Alpha versions of the AI for the three new generals, but it has yet to be added into an internal release yet (It hasn't been tested yet by Beta Testers).
I don't know whether or not it will be in the next version as I don't know when the next version is going to come out.
for some reason when i sign in i can only see mods for 4 games.
every time i want to see a zero hour mod for example, i need to log out.
NergiZed,in the next V do you fix the tank general AI that he will put tanks to the tank bunker??
I have the patch and the mod works fine, its just i can't play challenge mode.
Just to correct, go to version 0.951 and go to general's challenge... the spelling of the Special Weapons General is wrong (Spaecial/Speacial Weapons i think). Correct the grammar of the Pheonix's identification during a game. (Very very fast, bomber...just doesn't sound right) Just watch out for spelling and grammar. That's all. (:
Theres a problem, sometimes after I won in a Skirmish or Challenge it "throw" me from the game and the game closed
in windows vista is allways happen (not sometimes)
for the enforcer tank it should come out frozen for 5-10 seconds when it comes out of the warp sphere.
