overall, i liked the game. i have been playing it since 2011 with the reborn v.5

this version 6.26 had major upgrades such as the return of the laser general and others.
my only problem here is the superweapons of the gla factions have become weaker or might be accidentally nerfed. Also the unwanted change of defense structures of China, Flamethrower defense,ECM defense and artillery platform.

To answer some of your questions, yes the scud air burst was nerfed, but not accidentally. It was done to make way for future upgrades it will be receiving, along with changes to how toxin works in general, in a future version.

The Rogue Generals, will undergo complete overhauls, and will be completely different to what they are currently. Of course that means all bugs associated to them currently will be fixed, since most of them may not even exist afterwards.

I'll also take this opportunity to announce that all of the old VZH Generals are going to be scrapped, and only the new Reborn Generals will remain.

All of their unique skills and upgrades will be remade into generic upgrades for all the other factions. For example all normal Cold Fusion Reactors will receive the Advanced Control Rods upgrade as a second power upgrade after the normal Control Rods upgrade, and normal Troop Crawlers will receive an Assault Retrofit upgrade that gives them fireports, and so on.

Hi, I'm making this request to all mod creators which I'm hoping will not be an incredibly difficult task as I've read this type of modding can be done simply with FinalBig editor, but nonetheless;

Can someone create a mod or simple application which allows us to create our faction from the already existing units & buildings? That way it's far easier than messing with a lot of the .big files and whatnot. Perhaps the compatibility of this mod can extend even further to work with other mods so that users can create their own factions from regular units and modded units. But in any case, at least a mod or application that allows us to create and add a new faction to the game.

I imagine one straightforward way for this mod to work user-friendly is to be able to start off with a blanket template or from one of the factions/generals. From there, we would be able to change, add, or delete the buildings the faction can construct, the building's requirements in order to be build-able, cost, etc. Then we can choose what units production buildings can build, what upgrades and enhancements it can produce, etc. And if not too much effort, perhaps even create new producable upgrades with the ability to add an image for it to properly display. Then after editing the basics, the user can choose the general's powers, and again, if not too difficult, the ability to create new powers and add it's custom image for it, etc. After creating the entire faction, we get to name it, export it to correct folder location that we can choose since people install their game in different places, violla, they can send it to their friends if they want to play multiplayer with it, etc. I'm sure there's more creation features I'm not thinking of that could be possible, but that's some of the main things.

I hope you mod developers get the gist of what I'm trying to come across here. If any of you have the time and are willing to make this, that'd be super awesome!

Well, I can't speak for "all modders", but for me, I give this a no.

ZH is already the easiest to mod of all the CnC games, if not all the games in existence.

Making such a tool would actually make things harder for people, that's how simple ZH modding is.
