C&C: ShockWave is an enhancement mod for C&C Generals: Zero Hour.

The main goal of this mod is to make Zero Hour a more interesting game with more diversity between the generals, making you think twice before you select a certain general, and overall provide more choices, diversity, and strategic freedom than in Zero Hour - while keeping the spirit and design direction of the original Generals game and storyline.

ShockWave will include 3 new Generals in version 0.95, over 100 new units, tons of new structures, upgrades, maps and many other gameplay tweaks. ShockWave also provides completely custom made sound effects and music, new in-game weapon effects and visuals, bug fixes, and an improved battlefield overview with a higher viewpoint.

The 3 new generals - Deathstrike, Ironside and Leang will get their own general's challenge maps, and we will implement their voices, taunts and personality as EA intended sometime after version 1.1.

ShockWave runs closed and open beta versions, and we strive to preserve balance between all the different factions to make sure the game is equally enjoyable online and offline. Bug hunting is top priority for us as well, and ShockWave is one of the most stable mods out for Zero Hour. Even so, Shockwave 1.0 has just been released, and could still have some bugs that need working out.

NOTE: Get support at the offsite forums instead. Before you ask, remember this: try a clean install first. (make sure you delete the folder are the uninstall)
- The install order is for the latest version is: Gen. > ZH > ZH 1.04 patch > Shw 1.1
* If you're using The First Decade, you need not install the 1.04 patch as TFD comes with it.

We have heard your complaints. We saw the bugs, the crashes, the despair of those who couldn't play the Generals' Challenges. And now, we have a fix.

First in the list of fulfilling our promise of keeping ShockWave maintained, 1.201 has been released. The changelog and download was posted on our forums here: Forums.swr-productions.com

If you have not downloaded 1.2 yet, a fixed version has been released on all mirrors which fully incorporates 1.201's fixes, so you will not need to download this patch. You can download that on our website and on Moddb.

Hi. Im having a bit of a problem where the mod has installed and everything the problem is is that when i click on the launcher it brings up the correct launcher but when i click launch, the SW launcher minimizes and then it brings up the origin launch option (gen or gen zero hour) I click zero hour then it brings up base game... any advice?

PLEASE, I beg you folks to get back to this mod; it does need some tweaks.

Mainly, the demo General. I can't get past him on the Challenge "campaign". I am playing on Easy, but he behaves like Hard level.

All other Generals give me time to build up a base, though sadly, some, like the Nuke General, don't attack at all, (The Nuke General intro is no longer uses the big Nuke for some reason.).

The Demo General on the other hand is bombing my base within 15 seconds of the start, bankrupting me with an unfinished base, and I am under full-scale attack in less than 5 minutes.
The fact that you made him exempt from certain weaknesses that other GLA generals have doesn't help.

I have the same problem, i have barely set up my first defense turret and he comes up with 3 suicide bikes and instantly blows it up, plus another building. Its insane how hard the level is and i feel forced to play the demolotion general to not have to play against him because of it.

when i install this mod and run it, then i play skirmish, every 34 seconds my base explodes! my base also explodes in the original zero hour if i have the shockwave.

Try this thread. But be careful, you are messing about with registry. One mistake and explode goes your computer. I can't verify if it works though.

please fix the issue where base defenses won't shoot at vehicle rocket launcher systems like the scuds and tomahawk missile launchers... because its very annoying ;w;
