C&C: ShockWave is an enhancement mod for C&C Generals: Zero Hour.
The main goal of this mod is to make Zero Hour a more interesting game with more diversity between the generals, making you think twice before you select a certain general, and overall provide more choices, diversity, and strategic freedom than in Zero Hour - while keeping the spirit and design direction of the original Generals game and storyline.
ShockWave will include 3 new Generals in version 0.95, over 100 new units, tons of new structures, upgrades and maps, a fully working navy, and many other gameplay tweaks. ShockWave also provides completely custom made sound effects and music, new in-game weapon effects and visuals, bug fixes, and an improved battlefield overview with a higher viewpoint.
The 3 new generals - Deathstrike, Ironside and Leang will get their own general's challenge maps, and we will implement their voices, taunts and personality as EA intended. Part of ShockWave's intent is to clean up EA's rushed release job and let people enjoy the game the way it was meant to be.
The Navy will be added in version 1.0, however that's only accessable on special Navy-compatable maps, because you can't have a Battleship in a pond.
ShockWave runs closed and open beta versions, and we strive to preserve balance between all the different factions to make sure the game is equally enjoyable online and offline. Bug hunting is top priority for us, and ShockWave is one of the most stable mods out for Zero Hour.
Drop by our highly active forums to get tech support, suggest ideas for further development, and have a matchup with other ShockWave fans online!
Please Don't ask for the release date, or even an estimate, as there is never a release date.

Hello Shockwave Fans!
We all wish you a happy and good 2008!
To start of the new year we have prepared a small update for you all with 2 renders and some other nice informations but lets start with the renders shall we.

First is the Combat buggy for Gen. Deahtstrike
The combat buggy will replace the combat bikes for general deathstrike and they carry the same purpose and functions except that they will not be able to jump cliffs.
Advantages over the normal Combat Bikes are that the Combat Buggy can widthstand more punishment before it is destroyed and the fact that the weapons are mounted on a turret to preform quick drive by attacks.

Second is a new model for the R.A.D. Tank.
These new rad tanks aren't only different in apearance but also preform lightly better than the old ones details will be revealed below.
Now the other information i had mentioned earlier.
Starting from 2008 we decided to do more frequent updates on our mod to fix bugs and other small issues and we are currently working on a patch for 0.95 and we prepared a small change log for you to look at:
Keep in mind that this patch is not final and some of the changes mention might be removed or altered when the actual patch is released.
That would be all for today see you next time :)

I have a question guys. Which team will have Executioner or will you have to capture special building to build them?
Although it does come in as a boss unit in a scripted map in the mappack.
It's a EasterEgg unit, Meaning it's in the Worldbuilder.
Hey, do I need to get 0.93 or do I start from 0.95?
Nope, all you need is Generals, Zero hour 1.04, and Shockwave 0.95.
Although you should prolly patch it to 0.951, since it's more tweaked, has more stuff, and is the newer version. Altough you can play older versions if you like.
Hey shockwave, i love the mod now, you guys have done great. I love this new Bullfrog Transport and all that. Keep it up ;).
That sounds like General's own embedded anti-piracy subroutine going into effect; it automatically kills you after about 1 minute of play if it detects that you are using an illegal copy. However, the thing could also be malfunctioning as well.
The only advice I can give you is reinstall everything. (in this order: Generals > ZH > ZH 1.04 patch > SW .95 > SW .951 patch)
thanks, now i can play it, but now the units waypointing is all screwed up. they go about half way then stop or they wont even go at all if there is a obstacle.
Christ, you sure are having a lot of issues; bad luck man.
A way-pointing issue eh? That's a very odd problem that I've never encountered before. Although I've heard that way-pointing gets a little screwy when you've got a lot of units and a slow computer. But I'd advise you to visit the SW support forums, you should prolly search before you post though.

Edit: I've had this issue before once, but it was because I had an F'd up 'S' key, and everything just stopped when I clicked on them. There's prolly little chance that you have one, but make sure your 'S' is in tip-top condition and doesn't repeatedly press itself. :P
i know, my computer is a "good enough" type of computer in the case that is close to top end while still being cheap. anyways i cant get on the forums because my account is still being validated for the past month and i cant contact the forum administratior. also could this waypoint problem be gennerated by the GIB files.
