Installation Instructions:

1. Download both parts 1, 2, and 3 of the Codex Base Code.
2. Extract all 3 parts to your SS directory (see tutorial - Moddb.com).
3. Download and extract Codex 4.0 to your Soulstorm directory.
4. Select “Dawn of War: Codex (4.0)” from the Game Manager.

There is a combiner module file for using in conjunction with the Tyranids (vs 0.51b) and the Black Templars (beta 5) mods included in the extracted folder,
but you will NEED these 2 great mods installed separately.


NOTE: The new races are not the same as other independently released versions, just to avoid confusion. These are the Codex versions, developed separately.

Ok, so Codex 4.0 is out! Change log as usual is below:

Added Khorne Daemonkin

Added Inquisition Allies to Ad Mech
Renamed several Ad Mech units

Tau:
New updated Riptide (thanks to Oomperial for allowing into the mod)
Updated the Tau Commander
Added Crisis Bodyguard unit

Added a bunch of Army schemes for Ad Mech, and Daemonkin

Various (lots) of bug fixes and tidying up of Chaos Space Marines
Some other stuff I didn't note down, but have done..............

Next, no idea. Have a look at the list I guess...............

I feel like an idiot for asking but i cant find a single thing anywhere about it, but what exactly is the ally system? like when you chagne settings it asks if it allows people to use their allies? i saw post showing who is allies with who but i dont know what it means

I have a little problem, I extracted the files like it's said but when I start the game with this mod it says that it failed at activated someone knows why ?

Great mod but i didn't like the new change in Codex 4.0 that changes the tau commander with a stupid farside clone,is there a way i can bring back the original tau commander without installing older versions?

I have had the up to date mods installed for a few days more, and first things first this is the best mod i have seen. I have had a blast playing over the last few days.
The only bug i have experienced is with the Orks vehicle bay, the will produce wartruks and transports but thats it. No killa cans, lootas, or squiggoths. Has anyone else run into the same or a similar problems? certainly not a deal breaker, but probably will steer clear of the orks for now.

Looking forward to the next version!

Will you be replacing the Space Marine servitor with a tech marine, and replace the old rubbish scout models with the new ones you use for the individual chapter races? IMO look much better, and would be more in line with the others.

Codex mod is not dead peoples, just bit slow at moment compared to the frenetic pace of last 2 years. "We'llbe back", in force ;)
