Faction choices for:
Chaos Legions - 9 Original Traitor Legions and Renegades
Space Marines - Remaining 6 First Founding Legions, and 3 Second Founding Legions
Eldar - 6 most famous Craftworlds
Orks - The 6 major Clans
New units and characters for all the original races.


Installation Instructions:

1. Download both parts 1, 2, and 3 of the Codex Base Code.
2. Extract all 3 parts to your SS directory (see tutorial - Moddb.com).
3. Download and extract Codex 3.7 to your Soulstorm directory.
4. Select “Dawn of War: Codex (3.7)” from the Game Manager.

There is a combiner module file for using in conjunction with the Tyranids (vs 0.51b) and the Black Templars (beta 5) mods included in the extracted folder,
but you will NEED these 2 great mods installed separately.


NOTE: The new races are not the same as other independently released versions, just to avoid confusion. These are the Codex versions, developed separately.

So 3.7 if now officially released, adding Harlequin allies to both the Eldar and the Dark Eldar.

So, it's a good time to thank fuggles2k and the original Dance Macabre team for their work, and if it peeks your interest, you can try the full race mod here:

Next, 3.8, and the stupid blue squids (Sorry, Tau) get a little attention, Ad Mech get some allies, and some other gumf................

the mod is working perfectly fine but after playing the game and I went to the desktop their was a 4th .rar file titled simply codex_base and a folder titled the same with another folder titled data inside, the mod is still working and I just left these their for now but im woundering if I need these or where they came from or if I need to add them another game directory or another mod file the or reininstall the mod

No it's a bug that they are in the army painter, as they are not yet in-game.
