Faction choices for:
Chaos Legions - 9 Original Traitor Legions and Renegades
Space Marines - Remaining 6 First Founding Legions, and 3 Second Founding Legions
Eldar - 6 most famous Craftworlds
Orks - The 6 major Clans
New units and characters for all the original races.


Installation Instructions:

1. Download both parts 1, 2, and 3 of the Codex Base Code.
2. Extract all 3 parts to your SS directory (see tutorial - Moddb.com).
3. Download and extract Codex 3.7 to your Soulstorm directory.
4. Select “Dawn of War: Codex (3.7)” from the Game Manager.

There is a combiner module file for using in conjunction with the Tyranids (vs 0.51b) and the Black Templars (beta 5) mods included in the extracted folder,
but you will NEED these 2 great mods installed separately.


NOTE: The new races are not the same as other independently released versions, just to avoid confusion. These are the Codex versions, developed separately.

So 3.7 if now officially released, adding Harlequin allies to both the Eldar and the Dark Eldar.

So, it's a good time to thank fuggles2k and the original Dance Macabre team for their work, and if it peeks your interest, you can try the full race mod here:

Next, 3.8, and the stupid blue squids (Sorry, Tau) get a little attention, Ad Mech get some allies, and some other gumf................

Hey Boothy, I'm finally back from Korea so I can actually play Codex again and it seems you've pushed a new update. From reading the descriptions of the files, it seems like I don't have to redownload parts 1-3 for the 3.6>3.7 update. Is that correct? Do they use the same Base Files?

I found out that it does work, seemingly fine. Though I'd like you to confirm and make sure that's the intention. The internet where I'm staying currently is pretty slow so the large downloads would be killer.

I have a Bug Report as well and I'm not sure where to submit it, so I'll just leave it here: for the Chaos Daemons faction, the Herald of Khorne does not seem to be gaining his ability upgrades properly (e.g. Doombolt, Chains of Torment, etc.) Researching them does not add the corresponding ability to him, or any other unit for that matter. I can confirm that the upgrades work properly for Nuurgle and Tzeentch, but I haven't tested Slannesh.

A quick list of things I saw:

+Interceptors upgrades hav wrong descriptions.

+There's nothing in the advanced building menu,no options, no icons, blank. Same issue with other factions.

+could a camera mod be included (more de-zoom the better) ?

+it would be nice to have an option for different hotkey systems for our units. E.g when u get in the building menu, I would like to select the 1st icon with Q, the 2nd with W, 3rd with E etc. Its easier to leave my hand on left side of keyboard xD (its included in Titanium Wars and Ultimate Apocalypse but I just feel your mod is more polished).

"Allow Allies" win condition dude.
Opens up the advanced build menu with allies for all races (number varies)

a annoying bug with eldars! Units cant be build from buildings, their icons disappear. Sometimes they are there other times not! At first the icons are there, but suddenly after some min they are gone agine!
