Some races lack units, compared to others, why?
It's based on the Games Workshop army codex for each race. The units and details are drawn from them, so most of the time, they're lacking because the source material is lacking.
Then there's a time delay with new stuff being introduced. Building new models for the game is a time consuming process, not the day after a GW model release.
Which Codex editions do you base the mod on?
The 5th and 6th editions, with a small amount from the 2nd.
Can I add extra races to the mod?
Yes, you can. Please see here: Moddb.com
Are you looking for extra team members?
Yes, but only really modellers/texturers. If you would like to apply, please mail boothy_p.
My game crashes after the Soulstorm splash screen, what should I do?
This is simple. It will usually be a result of you having added extra mods, but not placed the 'RequiredMod's in the right order. Please refer back to the 1st FAQ.
Will Necrons receive any new units?
Yes, but only when they are released by the Ultimate Apocalypse team; we do not currently have a modeler, so as a result cannot make new units from scratch.
My game crashes when playing as Black Templars, why is this?
This will most likely be because you selected the Predator tank. This happens when the Black Templars mod is added to Codex. However, this is being fixed by jONES for the 5th beta of Black Templars.
My game crashes often, why is this?
This will probably be because the game is using up too much Random Access Memory; Dawn of War only uses a small amount of RAM, and it is likely your PC will have more than DOW uses. To increase the amount it uses, please follow this tutorial:Increase RAM usage Tutorial
Does the mod change gameplay, or just add new factions?
The gameplay remains vanilla, although new units and factions are added.
Does this mod include commander wargear?
No, because it has over 50 unique commander units so wouldn't fit in the framework.
How do the different subfactions vary?
Each has a special unit(s).
Error messages appear when i'm extracting, what should I do?
This will most likely happen if you are running Windows 7. If you are, then turn off UAC, delete anything already extracted, and restart the extraction.
I have no campaign button, why?
As the mod is not compatible with the campaign (the campaign will crash at some point if played), so teh button was removed in 3.3.
When I combine with Tyranids mod, the AI does nothing, and the UI's crap, what's up?
Ask the Tyranids mod team.............
