Expansions to the original 9 races:

Faction choices for:
Chaos Legions - 9 Original Traitor Legions and Renegades
Space Marines - Remaining 6 First Founding Legions, and 3 Second Founding Legions
Eldar - 6 most famous Craftworlds
Orks - The 6 major Clans
New units and characters for all the original races.

Installation Instructions:

1. Download both parts 1, 2, and 3 of the Codex Base Code.
2. Extract all 3 parts to your SS directory (see tutorial -
3. Download and extract Codex 3.7 to your Soulstorm directory.
4. Select “Dawn of War: Codex (3.7)” from the Game Manager.

There is a combiner module file for using in conjunction with the Tyranids (vs 0.51b) and the Black Templars (beta 5) mods included in the extracted folder,
but you will NEED these 2 great mods installed separately.

NOTE: The new races are not the same as other independently released versions, just to avoid confusion. These are the Codex versions, developed separately.

So 3.7 if now officially released, adding Harlequin allies to both the Eldar and the Dark Eldar.

So, it's a good time to thank fuggles2k and the original Dance Macabre team for their work, and if it peeks your interest, you can try the full race mod here:

Next, 3.8, and the stupid blue squids (Sorry, Tau) get a little attention, Ad Mech get some allies, and some other gumf................

M8 you`re mod is awesome,i really enyoy it. Big Blood Angels fan here,so i would like to ask was there any idea to implement later in other patches to allow commanders to attach in the jump pack squads (vangaurd,death company,sanguiry guard etc)? Becouse its weird not being able to attach chapter master to the sangui guard, or other elite squads.. cheers (:

Yeah, I know, but you either make a squad attachable, or not. So in theory you could get a no jump commanded attached to the sang guard......
Now I can handle that from the AI, just not if players want to do it.....

Well i would like for instance want to attach commanders to jump squads, makes blood angels more blood thristier like they are. this way i have to chose grey knights allies so i can make some melee groups so i can hurl them into the slaugther :D .. Yeah i saw sang arent really jump jump squads, they rather walk but they can jump to places..

I second this. This is something I suggested a long time ago, but development had ceased then. Simply filling in missing Tooltips would help a lot. Especially for Weapon Upgrades and such for several units (i.e. Devastator Marines, Lascannons, Plasma Cannons, etc. Differences, best effectiveness, etc.) Just simply missing in all of the missing tooltips would go a long way. I know it's low priority, but it's a good quality of life improvement.

Oh, AI code or descriptions - let me thinks :)
I'm slowly adding a few at a time each release, and making sure the new stuff has desc.
As long as I don't die/give up we'll get there!

Well I'm glad it's being update a bit :P I'd love to write up the descriptions and everything for the tooltips but I don't actually know the intended item's functions and stuff anything :P I just make certain items or upgrades because it's a nice change of pace :P

For the Dark Angels, is it possible to make their standard tactical marines bear the same model as the Company Veterans with the robes? Personally I love that look.

Or if it's not possible, is there a way that I could modify the models for myself and replace the tactical marine models with those of the company veterans?

Yes, it's possible.
I'm not going to do it as part of the mod (it's not Codex), but if you are familiar with Corsix's Mod Studio, it's a really quick change to make.....
