What mods did you enjoy the most and who will be getting your vote this year? Are there any other mods that did a major release in Q1 this year that we missed? Let us know in the comments! Otherwise - now is the time to get your votes in for the 2022 Mod of the Year.
Is MODDB aware that The Dark Mod has been a standalone game for several years now? I always found it odd that it's being on the Doom3 mod page and exposed as a Doom3 mod while it isn't.
Yep, but it started work as a total conversion for DOOM 3 (which is why it's still hosted as such), or at least the page on-site was setup as one. There's examples of standalone total conversions besides this onsite, like STALKER Anomaly and Total Chaos for example - these all started as mods for their original title and then transitioned into being standalone. It's up to the creators of these mods to request a transfer for their page - we won't take a judgement out ourselves considering how these projects usually begin.
Doom 3 Bravo is a great mod. I advise people to try it, you won't regret it!
Thank you so much for the feature!!
You're welcome! Keep up the great work, legends!
Thanks for the mention! Had no clue trench war was well known enough!
