upd: yep, it's quite moddable, at least i was able to build main dll from source editing some things there and there for my liking
Is it possible to use this shotgun in main game? I copied files with shotgun name in it, but it's shown without textures and sounds don't play correctly
upd1: i resolved almost everything, but textures are misplaced
Is normal that weapons now don't produce flashes? I mean they're still there, but not as bright and sharp as OG. Also there's no more bullet holes
upd1: i managed flashes, but dunno what with bullet holes
upd2: compatability patch with redux breaks menus (it's just black screen)
I have same error and i DO have dll in right place (next to base.dll and d3xp.dll), latest dhewm3 version 1.5.2

upd02: for some reason it cannot load dll (WARNING: couldn't load mod-specific fraggingfree.dll, defaulting to base game's library!)
upd03: version 1.3.1 works tho
Devs did their best to preserve everything as it was in original, to the point that they even left those aspects that people not liked at all, and they refuse to change them
Is it possible to make player hitbox thinner? It's not only about all attacks, but also about hitting walls on such distance, like main character damn wide
upd: Yes, it's possible. defs\actors\misc.txt, Actor Obj_Player, radius, default is 90, i lowered it to 20, feels good, natural. Damn, i didn't know that archives are so easily to access. Also had to get items radius wider since player is thinner, and get projectiles back to defaults
Is it compatible with 227j? Or 227i only?

Where 4.55 takes original sounds from? I replace defauld audio files with mine and 4.34 could read them from same folder as exe (like original, but those ogg files with "_voc" in file names)
It would be really nice to add volume slider to audio setting, or actually to get it back

Kinda yes but no - mostly can't spot difference (need some eq love), lots of clipping, some have oversaturated highs, some audio changed too much and barely resemble original sounds, some sound too synth, only some sound actually better. iZotope RX Spectral recovery is such a hit or miss, for better quality it's better find source audio, reverse ingeneering or just pick another sound

I just love how almost every action now have dedicated sound (sitting, standing, jumping, landing etc.) additional sounds for walking and weapon switching and overall sound design, can't even begin how happy my inner audio freak;

Why there's no all modern screen resolutions? No, i admit - playing with 2k/4k monitor FullHD is kinda retro experience;

Big mod developing like a cats - don't wait for it to come, don't anticipate for it, it will come only when it wants it, sometimes at the most unexpected moment, and of course you can't force it to it at all (trying to pick up cat when it pecefully lying somewhere isn't good idea - it will probably scratch you)

That's some serious mod you got here, wanna ask lots of questions:
- Is there gonna be new anims? Like in Brutal HL maybe? Or even straight from it, it's creator actually do some new'n'neat anims for guns;
- And how about new guns, will be there machine gun from OpFor? (just can't help myself but comparing it with Brutal HL, because it's closest thing to your mod);
- Will it support Xash3D?;
- Have you tried to make enemies run and gun in same time? I tried it's implementation with cutting off some animations, but this way it gets much harder (sometimes way too much, it's better with soldiers, but vorts... oh boy), and NPC's look broken, cuz they try to do two anims in same time
How could this version be "*EXTREMELY OUTDATED*", if it is only version accessible?
I see that some audio files simply recordings from D2016, if you need files that ripped straight from the game - I can throw you some (for example shotgun cocking sound, or whatever else + merge and export them into proper extension)
Is this necro? Just want know what those Player.txt files do? (I'm trying to make all my mods campatible with each other)
