Update and some patches for Persistent Lord of the Rings (PLotR)
Hotfix released for Divide and Conquer. Also some bigger changes at management worth mentioning, Arachir Galudirithon is no longer lead developer of the modding project:
It is with both relief and sadness that I am now able to announce that I am stepping down as the head of Divide and Conquer. The time has come for me to pass DaC onto someone who will do it justice in this new world of remasters but also to pass it to a team who have the energy and excitement to mod the game that I had back in July 2012 when I joined this mod.
My inactivity over the past year and my general lack of enthusiasm for any level of modding has served to harm DaC in ways I hadn't fully realised. When Rome I Remaster was announced, I began to think of the work it will take to port DaC to Med II remaster and I realised I didn't want to do it. I have grown jaded and bored of modding - what started as a passion now felt like a second job. It was time to step aside.
So it is with great excitement that I can announce that @Links has agreed to take on the role of DaC Secretary. The role of "leader" that I had held through necessity until now has been scrapped. The team will make decisions together, as we have always done, but the administrative duties that came with a leader role will pass to Links. He will also guide the team in general matters and have a final say in split votes. As such, if you have any questions about how to install DaC, you have a new person to message!
I will stay on with DaC but only as a background modder - more of a beta tester really - and I will continue to make YouTube content for DaC such as installation videos, developer diaries, let's plays and faction overviews.
My part in the future of DaC will now be a small one but I do look back with pride on where DaC has come.
Thank you all for your support over the years and for you gentle nudges when I have gone astray.
Here is to the future of DaC
