One of the first things you may notice in the title is that the "B" is missing from VTMB, this is not an accident. The Final Nights is an expansion to an otherwise flawless video game built upon the success of the Camarilla Edition series of mods. The "B" has been removed because this expansion can no longer bare the name Bloodlines as it is so far removed from the original game as to warrant the name change. The idea behind this expansion is, and always will be the notion of a completely new experience unlike we've seen so far. With 7 completely brand new clans, 5 new disciplines, extra quests, new NPCs, new game mechanics and new music, the features seem endless. All of this is being built upon the Camarilla Edition series incorporating such things as the blood timer system, pedestrian blood dolls, and the new combat system. Combined we feel the name Bloodlines must be removed from this game, and thus we now simply have "The Final Nights".

I'm proud to announce the release date of The Final Nights Version 1.2 will be Friday, April 4th. Beta testing is now complete and we are happy to say that TFN 1.2 runs very smooth. Quite a few bugs left over from 1.1 are now fixed along with some new content that should wet your chops. The new Samedi detection system is the highlight for TFN 1.2 along with other clan rebalancings. TCI would like to thank the community for your support during the development of this update!

- Dirty Cop .VCD file too long
- Readjusted supernatural values for targeted disciplines
- Created VCD files for Blood Dolls and Prostitutes

- Reworked Daimoinon 3: Conflagration so that it damages supernaturals more

I take it this mod does not need the 1.1 or 1.2 patch before I play? And if it doesn't, do you know if it will break the game if I do have them installed? Steam is being bitchy about turning off updates, and I'm just wondering if its worth all the hassle.

You're talking about the official 1.1 or 1.2 patches correct? Not Wesp's patches. In that case you will be fine. TFN already has 1.2 integrated into it so you'd just be overwriting the same files. Go ahead and let Steam do its thing then install TFN on top of it.

Is there a way to get back the original Downtown music? It would be much better if you just added some new songs, rather than replacing the old ones. Also if you commit a criminal violation in the Sunrise Diner during the quest with the shots, it's causing a bug which makes geting rid of the cops so hard.

Other than that the mod is amazing. I, especially, mesmerised by the Baali. But I would like too see it with a 'more demonic' demon form.

Yeah, the Diner bug has been a small glitch that I've been trying to lay to rest for years. Just when I think I have it finally working perfect, someone reports it's busted again.

Do you mean the discipline "Concordance" when you set yourself on fire? I added the fire effect to the player and he switches models to the "Blood Guardian". I could add horns and claws to the model but that would require model editing which I'm not too great with yet.

And yea, Concordance. I am down with anything that looks more terrifying than "the blood guy on fire". I don't say it's bad, but since we are talking about Baali, what we need is more and more dread.

These are my opinions, not complaints. This mod and Wesp5's patches are my favorites so far, so I want them to get better. And I thank all of the makers for presenting The Final Nights to us.

I know what you mean about the music (and graphics/ambience) giving you "the feeling". Bloodlines is great at that! :)

The music for the LA_Downtown hub is located in Vampire\sound\music\downtown\downtown_theme.mp3. You will want to extract the original song and overwrite the one I placed in TFN. The original song can be found with an original install or in the VPK (Vampire Pak files). Which one, I don't know.

I can see about making the Baali Demon Form (Concordance) more "dreadful", but honestly there's so much new content I want to add first for non-Baali players. Model editing is very difficult because I'm not good at it. Removing the claws from the Samedi model took hours and hours to look remotely right.

You're very welcome, glad you're enjoying it. Yeah, Wesp has done Bloodlines such a huge service with his patches!

None, don't install any patches or mods with this, only use TFN 1.2. It already comes with the official and unofficial patches (6.5) at which time we began fixing our own bugs.
