One of the first things you may notice in the title is that the "B" is missing from VTMB, this is not an accident. The Final Nights is an expansion to an otherwise flawless video game built upon the success of the Camarilla Edition series of mods. The "B" has been removed because this expansion can no longer bare the name Bloodlines as it is so far removed from the original game as to warrant the name change. The idea behind this expansion is, and always will be the notion of a completely new experience unlike we've seen so far. With 7 completely brand new clans, 5 new disciplines, extra quests, new NPCs, new game mechanics and new music, the features seem endless. All of this is being built upon the Camarilla Edition series incorporating such things as the blood timer system, pedestrian blood dolls, and the new combat system. Combined we feel the name Bloodlines must be removed from this game, and thus we now simply have "The Final Nights".

I'm proud to announce the release date of The Final Nights Version 1.2 will be Friday, April 4th. Beta testing is now complete and we are happy to say that TFN 1.2 runs very smooth. Quite a few bugs left over from 1.1 are now fixed along with some new content that should wet your chops. The new Samedi detection system is the highlight for TFN 1.2 along with other clan rebalancings. TCI would like to thank the community for your support during the development of this update!

hi again - i've got another problem, this time for real: After getting on the boat at the Society of Leopold the loading screen appears, gets to 100% and that's where it get's stuck. It should load the downtown hub IIRC, but that never happens, stuck on the loading screen. Clean install, no other mods, so maybe you have an idea. Great mod so far btw.

Sounds like a random game glitch. I did a full run through with a Samedi before releasing this and I never had that problem. Try loading from a slightly older save and see if it does it again. Are you running other programs in the background like virus scanners and such? Probably not the issue but I thought I'd ask. Let me know if an older save gets you past this issue.

I'm using 1280x720 and I also tried 1366x768 and it didn't work. I'm just wondering that my resolution says 1280x720x32, does it mean that it uses 32bit system then?

I installed this game on cd and I have no idea how to use that install64 since it always says Vampire - The Masquerade Bloodlines.msi - File not found, or file access error!

I have tried to search all around the internet how to fix this, but I haven't even found anyone who has the similar problem that I do.

Maybe the upper part is missing, because for some reason the game is still on 3:4 aspect ratio even though it's using 16:9 I don't know.

I'm using windows 7 64bit version, and I hope you guys can help me so I can start streaming this game! :)

It's missing the top and bottom portions of the game. Have you tried playing in full screen mode instead of windowed mode? Maybe that's the issue. I don't play in Widescreen and never have since it stretches part of the hub. Let me know if playing in full screen helps.

Wow unbelievable, I can't run it in full screen anymore... I deleted the -windowed shortcut from my launch file and it still runs in windowed mode. I even used the engine.dll backup file but it still runs it in windowed mode. Any ideas how to reset it back to full screen mode?

By default it should run in full screen. I did some googling but nothing relevant so far. I'll let you know if I come up with something.

Alright I fixed that problem by adding -fullscreen on my shortcut, but it's still missing top and bottom portions. When I launch the game on full screen my tv says that it is switched to 640x480 resolution but in game's options it clearly shows that I am running on 1280x720x32.

So I really believe that it is somehow stuck in 3:4 aspect ratio and it just stretches the screen to 1280x720 resolution and leaves all that doesn't fit on that window out of screen.

That is my best guess on what's happening, but I have no idea what is causing it and how to fix it. If you have any idea what I can do to make it work, please tell me.

I think you're right, it sounds like it's still in 3:4 aspect ratio. Because I've never used the widescreen mod I'm a terrible person to ask about this, however many of the guys who play in widescreen also hang out on our official forum at www.camarillaedition.darkbb.com.

Head over there and create an quick account and ask your question in the TFN section. It's a very active forum with a good 40 players visiting daily and they love to help people struggling with issues. I'm sure one of them has a solution for you. Tell em' Zer0 sent you and they'll fix you right up. :)

Thank you so much, picked this mod up shortly after your reply, and have been basically playing it with only breaks for sleep. It's really addicting and a great deal of fun. Though I've got to say this would be even more fun with more Easter eggs but to each his own, and thanks for all the massive work you guys put into this.

I'm gonna go easter egg crazy in 1.3 so stay tuned. I'm like you, I love putting in easter eggs then having people find them. I like putting personal stuff about me in the game too. You ever notice the spray paint, some of it says "Zer0Morph" and "TFN Sucks". lol
