Continues the famous White Wolf gaming tradition in a new role-playing adventure with an open, non-linear world, rich character development and an immersive storyline.

Blends all the core elements of a traditional RPG with the graphical richness, immediacy and brutal combat of a first-person action game powered by Valve Source Technology, the same game engine technology used for Half-Life 2.

Plunge into the dark and gritty vampire underworld of modern day Los Angeles as a creature of the night, interacting with and battling mortals and creatures of darkness with an incredible array of vampire powers, skills and traits.

Now that CQM 3.1 is released, efforts can be refocused towards a solid version 4.0. We have big plans for the next major version of the mod, and it's time to talk a little bit about what that will look like.

The next version of Clan Quest Mod, which we've already been working on, will feature a story line involving the possibility of rejecting the Camarilla and instead joining the Sabbat. When the player first encounters the Sabbat Archbishop the story will take an entirely different direction involving a Sabbat plot to overthrow the Kuei-Jin, Camarilla and Anarchs in Los Angeles. This will add an entirely new chapter to the game, including a fifth hub - a Latino barrio, very loosely based on some spurious comments from the original developers of the game. The main themes of this new addendum will be concepts of both loyalty and betrayal. This new hub will be populated with a variety of new NPCs, giving a peek into the clans of the Sabbat, including Camarilla and Independent clans' antitribu.

el tenampa0002

The new hub and content will not be "cut-off" from Camarilla players as they will still be able to explore that aspect of the story as a sort of "mole".

As this project is an ambitious undertaking, there is no projected release date as of yet, but the current target is March 2016. More news and updates will be forthcoming as they develop. Stay tuned for more news, here on!

Hey, need to report a bug. There's something wrong with the new hunter fight in front of the house that Andrei (the Tzmise) has taken over... even though I killed the Uber Hunter and his gang, I still hear the Uber Hunter taunting my character and the magical barriers that I assume he put up won't go away. Had to use noclip to continue.

And he WAS definitely dead. Oh also... earlier I think I accidentally triggered part of a quest I hadn't actually found yet when I wandered into the Luckee Star Motel earlier and read some messages on a laptop. That triggered a fight with the hunters in their helicoptor... which I blew up... and then that same chopper (I assume that's the same one anyway) appeared in front of Andrei's house... so maybe that has something to do with it?

Unofficial patch "Plus" version. Try that first, it'll help you evaluate if any other mods worth playing.

Then try these mods:

-VTM: The Final Nights. Very similar to the Plus version of the Unofficial patch with a few new NPCs, a few new quests and a few new mechanics, most groundbreaking of which is bloodloss overtime, it force you to hunt more and makes you feels like a real vampire. Also, some new music tracks which may or may not to your liking.

I suggest your first time as social Salubri just to experience what your signature discipline can do.(hint:Mercurio and Heather)

-VTMB: Antitribu. Try this if you want hardcore combat every five minutes otherwise stay away, i warned you. Also, this is potentially has the biggest list of features of all the VTMB mods but right now it feels real empty in term of contents and prone to bugs.

Everyone plays this for Tzimisce, it's the highlight of Antitribu and maybe the most completed.

-Clan Quest Mod. This mod is very old and don't expect the creator to update it anytime soon. It got some new, fully voice acted quest for every clans and let me tell you it's better than The final nights and Antitribu's quest combined.

well i'm not even sure if Antitribu has any quest as of now lol.

-Companion Mod. Also very old. It lets you persuade some NPCs to join you as companions through dialogs and miniquest. New voiced dialogs are done through splicing like what you probably seen in Team Fortress 2 funny video but here they play out very nice as if they're in the game in the first place.

You can also turned that Japanese hunter chick in chinatown into a vampire too, the best thing in the mod.

Well, you said that in February, but CQM is gonna be updated anytime soon! I guess, in a couple or months, or so, but still...

I didn't like Final Nights that much, but it's pretty good anyway. And Antitribu... I think it's gonna be tons better when (and if) they put some Sabbat quests ingame. I think they actually made some semi-main quests, but I haven't tested them myself. But yeah, it's even more FPS-like, which would fit damn good to a Sabbat, but not as much to a Cammy or an Anarch. And it's everything about roleplaying to me.

Otherwise, I totally agree with you. Hope you are still playing this amazing game.

I always thought that this game was so underrated... I loved every second I spent playing The Masquerade and there's still nothing quite like it out there. I would really like to see a sequel or maybe a remake... Anyway, at least I'm happy that it managed to get a cult following... it sort of adds a little to all the vampire creepiness. :-)

I posted this to the Steam forums but I'm wondering if any one here can help me out too. While playing VtM:B with Wesp5's latest patch I keep having an issue with the drawing of textures. Namely, they keep disappear when they reach the edges of my view. I don't know if this is a glitch or by design, but I do know it's annoying as all hell. If anyone knows what's happening and how to fix it, please let me know.

What I'm talking about:

I hope your not using the steam version with any mods. If you are you have to follow these steps;

Afterwards if you want people to see you playing VTM:B, you can add the "non-steam game" shortcut.
