One of the first things you may notice in the title is that the "B" is missing from VTMB, this is not an accident. The Final Nights is an expansion to an otherwise flawless video game built upon the success of the Camarilla Edition series of mods. The "B" has been removed because this expansion can no longer bare the name Bloodlines as it is so far removed from the original game as to warrant the name change. The idea behind this expansion is, and always will be the notion of a completely new experience unlike we've seen so far. With 7 completely brand new clans, 5 new disciplines, extra quests, new NPCs, new game mechanics and new music, the features seem endless. All of this is being built upon the Camarilla Edition series incorporating such things as the blood timer system, pedestrian blood dolls, and the new combat system. Combined we feel the name Bloodlines must be removed from this game, and thus we now simply have "The Final Nights".

TFN Fans,

So it appears that releasing a major overhaul update such as TFN 1.5 HD does NOT update the TFN page which notifies fans to get over here and download it. I've been notified by such fans who didn't even know it was uploaded yesterday, so I'm creating this article to officially announce that 1.5 HD is uploaded and ready to play as of yesterday.

Along with that, I am going to re-post my video "How To Install" guide for those of you less technologically inclined... because we love you too! Lastly, you can't always be playing TFN so why don't you pop over to my YouTube channel and watch my "Let's Play" while you're eating your sandwich taking a TFN break... who knows, you might even learn a trick or two. :)

Happy Halloween folks and I hope this latest release wets your pallets and gets your vitae flowing for October 31st!

I went and reinstalled VTMB through Steam right after they announced the sequel recently. Was really excited to try this out since I've only ever played vanilla (plus bugfixes and texture improvements).

I'm running Windows 10 and keep crashing to the desktop at random points, but all before starting a new game. This started ever since I added "-fullscreen" after the "-game tfn" line. Before this, I was able to browse the main menu and change a few settings without difficulty, but it seems fullscreen is making it unstable? Native resolution is 2560x1440 but downscaled it to 1920x1080 because of the recommendation at launch. I don't know if that's also causing issue.

I've never added the -fullscreen switch to my game because I've never needed too. It should default to full screen automatically so you shouldn't need that switch. I'm not sure if that's the issue but I would definitely start there and take that out.

I also have never tested any resolution higher than 1080p (1920x1080) so it's possible that a higher resolution could make the game unstable. I specifically designed and tested TFN 1.5 HD for the 1080p resolution. Keep me up to date on your findings because your tests could help someone else.

Love the mod!I'm having a small problem though. In the ground zero cafe, the computer that should be josefk directory isnt on, and none of the other computers have it as an option. Any ideas for a workaround?

It's there, it's in the back area right before you go to fight the head runners. Use that computer. I had to change it so the people wouldn't freak out when the Samedi uses it.

If you feel you have a good grasp of the game and you're just itching to play TFN, I would think you're ready to go. The ending scenes are the same in both versions so I think swapping over to TFN now would be just fine.

Just a warning, you definitely want to read the game manual .pdf file that comes with TFN, it will help you understand the changes and new game mechanics a lot.

Let us know your thoughts after you get to Hollywood and post them here. I love player feedback.

Higher level targetable disciplines won't show up, you'll have to add them to your discipline shortcut menu (Default: K). Once you assign them to a number, press it and it will show up. It's an unfortunate bug after modding the disciplines.

Hey, man, congratulations for the mod! I can't get it to run, though.
I got my game from GOG, I installed the game into a folder on desktop and dragged the files to the base game folder, and replaced all the archives. Created the shortcut, added the –game tfn, and when I ran it, the game started with your logo. Got myself all excited, but then it ran the base game when I started it. Same clans, same models, same disciplines.
Any idea on how to install the mod on GOG?

Thanks man!

I just re-set mine up to make sure I could do it right. So you go into the vampire directory and right click on vampire.exe and create a shortcut to your desktop. After that, open the shortcut with right-click and you'll see a target.

Lastly, you want to go to the end of the target field, and press space once (after the "). type -game tfn

Make sure you get the spacing right or it won't work, and no quotes should be around -game tfn.

I love this mod! For a while, I felt burned out on playing VtM:B until I found this gem. :D The gameplay difficulty is slightly amped up, which I appreciate, due to all of the modifications. The Camarilla Edition changes to the Blood Healing system, the fact that Haggle is almost necessary, increase in difficulty to Inspection/Seduction [the latter being virtually useless, anyway, but it forces you to "fend for yourself" which seems more realistic]... And I am in *love love love* with the fact that…
