One of the first things you may notice in the title is that the "B" is missing from VTMB, this is not an accident. The Final Nights is an expansion to an otherwise flawless video game built upon the success of the Camarilla Edition series of mods. The "B" has been removed because this expansion can no longer bare the name Bloodlines as it is so far removed from the original game as to warrant the name change. The idea behind this expansion is, and always will be the notion of a completely new experience unlike we've seen so far. With 7 completely brand new clans, 5 new disciplines, extra quests, new NPCs, new game mechanics and new music, the features seem endless. All of this is being built upon the Camarilla Edition series incorporating such things as the blood timer system, pedestrian blood dolls, and the new combat system. Combined we feel the name Bloodlines must be removed from this game, and thus we now simply have "The Final Nights".

The Ming Xiao ending has been fixed along with the new Histories System, Hacking feat, and Lockpicking feat, which will make for a very different experience from prior versions. Greetings. I saw that Unofficial Patch 8.8 reintroduced animations for passive discipline plus multiple cool graphic effects. Can we hope seeing it in the next release? Another thing : Why does bullets break my character animation? I mean in the chinatown night club cutscene, when you take a bullet it does nothing... Taking damage OK but that shouldn't trigger that stupid animation in my opinion. Anyway thanks for your work! It's great to see the community keeping this game alive, particulary when some "big" studios aren't even able to make another game!

Passive disciplines? Which ones, I knew they re-added the hand animations for the targeted discipline Thaumaturgy, but was unaware they did a new animation for passive ones. I'm not sure why the cutscene bullet doesn't animate your character, Troika never programmed it in I guess. I can take a look at it and if I can figure out how to add it back in, I'll stick it in the patch. :)

You are right I meant active discipline, my mistake! For the bullet hit animation I meant "why is there one?" You are an undead so a few holes should let a little blood but not break your animation, particulary when you are in a middle of combo! :) Maybe a damage trigger for some guns like shotguns to slow you might do the trick? Sorry for my English I'm french (nobody is perfect :))

Hey, I've just installed that mod over 1.2 retail copy and found out that it doesn't natively support FHD. So i respatched the game and now main menu picture is stretched in vertical direction. No big deal, really, it's just that Wesp's patches seem to integrate that. (And i think CE did too, since it was based on UP, although I'm not sure) Anyway, just thought I'd let you know, great work you've done here. Oh and hurry up that 1.3 patch, will ya?

Are you talking about the widescreen patch? Yeah, that stretches the hud and character sheet which is why I don't use it. Both CE and TFN are built upon the 6.5 unofficial patches so I'm not sure what to tell you there. Thanks for the compliments are we're finishing up 1.3, only have a few more backgrounds to complete and the Assamite female to create and we're ready for release! :)

Well, using 4:3 resolutions on 16:9 monitor stretches the picture even more. Not to mention pixelization. Yeah, for some reason i thought that after installing CE i didn't have to patch the game. Maybe you can include it as an option in the installer? I always have that utility handy but other people may struggle with it.

Well, TFN packages the resolution patcher with the game but I'm not sure how to make it an option in the installer. This may seem silly but I actually purchased a 19" 4:3 LCD monitor last year just so I could play TFN at it's native 1280x1024 resolution. So that should tell you how obsessed I am with this silly game, HAHA! I'll see if I can play around with the installer to make this an option but I'm not sure if I can. Good idea though!

I just poked around in the game directory and found it :D It's in tools directory, right? Thing is i just used my own without even looking. If it's already there you can just mention it on the information pages IN BIG LETTERS SO EVERYONE CAN SEE. Oh and i still have my old 17" CRT monitor (along with WinXP PC to run old games on) it just hurts my eyes :D (real oldschool gamers buy new eyes instead of new monitors) :D
P.S. Okay i won't write anything on that matter anymore, not to distract you from improving the mod 24/7/365

Haha you're fine! I enjoy getting messages on here. You're right, I should've purchased new eyes instead of a monitor but I couldn't afford them, plus I'd need new glasses to go with the eyes, HAHA!
