Quake Wars: Tactical Assault is a revamp of Enemy Territory: Quake Wars' core gameplay, with the intention of creating a grittier, more realistic environment than the base game, while still telling the story of the Strogg invasion of Earth. While Enemy Territory: Quake Wars tends to be a game of shoot first, often, and charge into the meatgrinder, Quake Wars: Tactical Assault strives to be more of a thinking man(or woman)'s game, where choosing your fights and positioning yourself to prevail carries the day.

Enemy Territory: Quake Wars happened to get some Desura support. Three mods were published, two of them are multiplayer total conversions.

A team based multiplayer shooter modification that utilizes some of the team oriented aspects of its parent title, “Enemy Territory: Quake Wars” and combines it with new futuristic equipment and weaponry. The game takes place in era far after Quake 4 where humanity has just recovered from a longstanding war against a formidable foe, but now find each other in conflict with one another; all vying for supremacy.
Mods install to the main game directory. You can set your own mod launch commands on Desura, a short User Launch Options tutorial is here.

This patch corrects an issue where rewards/proficiencies would not increase other than for the vehicles stat.

why are all the vehichles gone in bot matches?
uh whts different from the regular game i looked at the trailer and pictures its the same nothing looks different
a Clear example is "Dark Matter" cannon, that was the same as the nulclear cannon for the resistance forces.
I cant thank you enough for the dark matter cannon, its amazing.
Mainly gameplay tweaks. It's played a way more differently than vanilla QW.
Do I have to install both hotfixes or just the second hotfix?

I have almost given up on this mod now, looks awesome, but i've clean installed 4 times (2 without updates and 2 with) and it still cant find the damn .dll even if i put it in about 6-12 different possible file locations D:
Have you copied the folder in the archive into the Quake Wars Directory, so there would be the "data" folder and the QWTA folder?
Try installing the game by connecting to a server running QWTA. It should install it automatically on its own, if you're having trouble installing it from the provided zip files.
I still seem to be having the .DLL problem with a clean copy of the game thats updated.
