Soldat is an action packed shareware 2d shooter. Don't let the lack of the 3rd dimension get to you, because this it's an action packed game drawing on the roots of many popular titles. Weapons are chosen in a Counter-Strike style, and the weapons are modern machine, and sub machine guns of the CS style. The landscapes and view are vaguely Worms like, except everything is guns blazing realtime instead of turn based.
Soldat delivers in the gameplay department as well, packing in 5 game modes from capture the flag to team deathmatch. Sideview maps can be created with the editor. New weapons and graphics can be made along with interface changes.
