I like that you aren't just doing a carbon copy of these maps with updated graphics. You're actually IMPROVING the core parts of the maps.

The only thing I would suggest is removing the hand waving while running. I always thought it looks kinda cheesy when games do that.
Do you think you could pretty please update the Isometric Development article on your site? All the images are broken :(
Projectzomboid.com
HELL YEAH. Out of Hell is one of my favorite mods of all time. Looking forward to seeing more of this game.
I think the little bolt on the beginning of the spine is a little comical. Makes me envision screwing the entire head onto a body.
Umm.... Are the left and right feet swapped, or is it just me?
Excellent tutorial. Superb amount of detail you put in it. Just watched all 8 parts, and I'll be watching the detail terrains tutorial soon.
Very detailed, but maybe a little too smokey.
Yeah, I can understand that.
I kinda liked the old menu screen better :(
I'm really glad to see that you're working on your mod again.
Herp: Derp?
SHOW ME THIS GAME
Also, I find some joy in playing newer mods on older engines. And surely modding older engines and upgrading their capabilities is fun too. Cry of Fear and Overdose are great examples of this.
I wanna play with some people. When I've checked, there hasn't been anyone playing. Somebody friend me on Steam (Dremth), and let's get a game together.
Oh yeah, I forgot about the DOF in the reload. It's looking pretty sweet. Only thing, there should be a button to bring up the HUD without reloading or anything. You know, to check you current ammo and health and whatnot. I couldn't tell by the vid if you already had something like that implemented or not.
Jesus... this thing is massive. Why did I get New Vegas for PS3...
I'm getting an error when trying to install with Desura:
"There was an error during the gathering information process and it has been stopped.
Status: No files from this mods branch (4294967295) could be found. [38.108]"
It could easily be something wrong on my end, but I'm not sure. I haven't used Desura very much.
Sweet. I'll have to check this out later tonight.
It might just be the angle or the specific frame of an animation this is taken from, but his right arm looks a little peculiar to me.
I used to think that exact same way. Then I got the Moto Droid and realized just how damn useful it can be. GPS, internet practically anywhere, music, video, camera. It's hard for me to live without it. It's sad, but I don't even care. I love my smartphone.
I'd say the fact that it's paid makes up for it. It would be another story if it was just another mod team looking for somebody out there to do the dirty work for free.
Really, I don't understand the craze behind Angry Birds. I mean, it's fun I suppose, but it's not really anything too new. I remember playing a flash game called Crush the Castle which is essentially the same exact game but in a medieval setting, and it actually was released almost 8 months before Angry Birds by Armor Games. Personally, I think Minecraft is a much greater feat of game development, and it's still growing and developing into a bigger and better game. However, there hasn't really been anything new to come out of Angry Birds other than new platform releases and holiday skin packs and whatnot. I realize this poll is focused on WHO I'd rather be and not the better GAME, but regardless I'd rather be whoever developed the better game, which I believe to be Notch. Of course, I'm happier being me instead of either of them, but I felt like that was a cop-out answer and basically just a way to invalidate the credibility of the poll's results. I'd be much more interested in the results of a poll with just the first two choices.
OH GOD HOW DID THIS GET HERE I AM NOT GOOD WITH COMPUTER
I wonder if they know how magnets work
Not only will that fridge protect you from creepers, but also from nuclear holocaust.
I like #1 the best. However, I think you should combine the actual needle of #2 with #1, and make #1's grip space a little larger. It looks a too small for a hand to fit into.
You are correct. The lighting is awesome. It looks like the game is going to have some awesome puzzles, too.
I've never played Limbo but I've always loved the art style, so that's what I'm rooting for.
The indie awards didn't exist before this year. Since The Ball was released as an indie title this year, it is eligible. And I understand that they added quite a bit more content into the game since they started developing it as an indie.
I honestly don't think it'll win though. I haven't played all of these titles, but Minecraft seemed like the most innovative to me... and damn fun, addictive, and awesome.
