It could easily be something wrong on my end, but I'm not sure. I haven't used Desura very much.

If I were you, I wouldn't put the inaccessible platform with the fruit tree on it. If I was playing through I would probably spend much too long trying to figure out a way to get up to the platform before I either gave up and moved on or just got frustrated and quit.
******* awesome. You have successfully done justice to my favorite character. This model is better than the models in the commercial DBZ games. Only thing is that the fist looks a little weird. It might just be the posing. All the fingers shouldn't be level like that. The smaller fingers need to be pulled in closer to the palm or the fingers' sizes need to be more varied. Garagetopia.com

All Gavavva was doing was being upfront and to-the-point. I'd much prefer him to say "This is what we need, others need not apply," instead of settling for low quality. If looking for high quality modelers is a crime, then every mod on ModDB would look like ****. I'm glad that at least some mods (in this case, indie games) have standards. To the devs: don't give up your search. Maybe consider setting up donations (too soon for pre-orders?) so you can hire a pro modeler. Believe me, if I was a decent modeler at all, I'd apply, but I won't waste your time with my kindergarten stuff.
For future posts, I think you would benefit from an editor. Posts that don't display a firm grasp of English can be difficult to understand and it makes everything seem less professional. I'd be willing to do it for you if you'd like (and this goes for anyone else's mods, too).
BIG sad face :'( This looked like one of the most promising mods on the Cryengine. Hopefully CE3 will have even better mod tools for you to use so the mod will be even better :D

That's how I've always viewed this mod. This is already just about as polished (in terms of gameplay) as HL2 Wars and getting close to Zombie Master. If it's that close now, think of what the end result will be!

I like the way the blur is. Just because it's not realistic doesn't mean it isn't suitable for the game. If all games were entirely realistic, then nobody would play them.

This comment is intended only to be constructive criticism, not trying to be a **** or anything, but I think the texture is a little bland. I think it could use some variety of colors and maybe some little decals here and there. Otherwise, I like it. It's your game, do with it what you will. If you are happy with it the way it is, then please pay me no attention.
I have noticed a slight speed increase. Essentially a fast site has been made even faster. However, for some reason, the search bar at the top is sometimes misaligned.

I'm in the beta and, I must say, I am impressed. The interface is very usable and fluid (unlike Steam). I like how it links up with your ModDB information. I've yet to actually do any mod installations (I'm away from my gaming PC), but it appears to be extremely simple. I look forward to further developments on Desura.

I've never played Limbo but I've always loved the art style, so that's what I'm rooting for.
The indie awards didn't exist before this year. Since The Ball was released as an indie title this year, it is eligible. And I understand that they added quite a bit more content into the game since they started developing it as an indie.
I honestly don't think it'll win though. I haven't played all of these titles, but Minecraft seemed like the most innovative to me... and damn fun, addictive, and awesome.

I like the font. I think the upper arc would be better as a tentacle or something more lively/rounded to give the idea of something organic. I think that with the gear giving off the idea of technology, an opposite organic feeling would help to balance it out. I'd also make it a little more compact if possible.

My brother and I looked at this for about an hour and we think we finally figured it out. Definitely not as easy as you said :P We still aren't entirely sure we got it correct because there's little information confirming it. The only reason we got the word was because I know quite a bit about Egypt and it just kinda jumped out at me after a while. Plus, I remember seeing the flower of life on the walls when I played the mod.

Yeah I usually go Tech with the Tesla Cannon / PDW / Electric Armor combo unless we need a turret. Occasionally I'll be medic for the last 2 maps if we need extra infestation healing.
I must say... This is the most fun "shell" of a game I've ever played. It's about time I found something to pull my attention away from L4D1 and 2. I've tried every weapon and my favorite has to be the Tesla Cannon.

Seriously? You think the original Half-Life was better than HL2, Ep1, and Ep2? I voted for sequels. Actually, when making my vote on this poll, I was thinking about the Half-Life series in particular. HL1 was awesome, HL2 was even better, Ep1 was even better, and Ep2 has been the best so far. I understand that HL1 basically defined the FPS genre, and I'd agree with you if we were taking nostalgia into account, but otherwise, HL1 can't even begin to compare to the sequels.

yea i was ******* ****** the first time i saw a commercial. but what really ****** me off is that all these video sites with ads have them implemented so horribly. you can tell they were an afterthought. the entire system used to present the ads is completely bug ridden. for instance, when i was watching this particular vid, the ad started right in the middle of the trailer! luckily, they dont have the ads on every single vid... yet.

well, yes, i could work alone, but that would greatly limit how ambitious my mod/game can be. if i'm doing a mod for a 3d game, i will most certainly need a team since i know nothing about modeling and texturing or even programming for a 3d environment. currently i've decided to start my own 2d game from scratch. since i do all the programming that should limit the number of people i need for a team to about 1 or 2 other people for the graphics. 2d is a much more manageable aspect for me to work in. plus 2d games are just plain awesome
oh jeez, everything would be so much easier if i could just find a good team. one man can only do so much. so many of my projects have failed because i've lost contact with my team members or just the simple lack thereof. for example, my current mod is dead because i couldn't find people to help so i lost interest :(

it would be spamming if i posted that comment on something that had nothing to do with game engines. im simply trying to save people time and maybe peak some people's interest. i dont get anything out of telling people about this engine. i dont get paid or anything. i just thought that some people would be open minded and be willing to try out something new. i guess i was wrong.

i like it dark. even though you can't see the full detail of all of your custom stuff, if every game was lit so you could perfectly see the detail of all their custom models then the games would all be really boringly lit.

every time i see a road block like that in a game i have to cringe. thats like the typical 'end of map' zone you see in nearly every war game.

i just downloaded it. i have a bit of advice though. personally, i know how to install maps, but not everyone does. if you want everyone to have a good experience, i'd suggest that you put in a readme that tells you where to put it, how to start it, and that you need to set the time limit to 0.
also, i don't know of anyone who doesn't have winrar, but i know there has got to be a few people that don't have it, so you may want to put it in a zip. the compression difference is not significant enough on files of this size to matter that much.
i'll be sure to let you know what i think of the mod when i play it :)

i dont know if its the engine or the game, but battlefield 2 is extremely buggy and slow even on a high end pc and it makes the game awful. i bought bf2 a good while ago and i played it for a few days before getting completely fed up with it.
