With nuclear apocalypse looming over the world, several vaults were constructed to contain the best and brightest of humanity. By being shielded from the imminent death, the offspring of these people could reclaim and repopulate the Earth. However, before the entire network could be completed, nuclear war broke out. One of the vaults became militaristic and technology-driven. Using their superior weapons, they were able to claim the surrounding wasteland. The members of this vault formed the Brotherhood of Steel, an organization dedicated to unlocking new and better technologies.

Are there any Fallout Tactics modding tutorials?
YOU WANT TO TRY A FALLOUT TACTICS MOD? Try them all! Ha! Here are the latest status of the (near 20) mods that has been created or UD at this point :
RELEASED
1. Enclave : Probably the most popular. A true gem. Only new missions. I don't think new versions will come soon.
2. Redux : Endocore did a massive and impressive job.
3. Turned-based : Very unique mod. Some tactics mods don't even use Turned-based.
4. Awaken : Pretty good total conversion mod, the first I think to have been released as a true non-linear RPG.
RELEASED/UNDER DEVELOPMENT
1. The Sum : Current version (1.4) is playable and can be finished, but it still has many bugs and don't include side quests.
2. Xkcon's ultimate rip off mod : Looks fantastic. Its creator is still very active.
3. Equilibrium : A damn good mod based on Redux 1.3 with very hi-quality new items and an extensive audio/visual rehaul.
UNDER DEVELOPMENT
1.Project Safehouse : Very ambitious mod at its early stages of development. I don't think it is being worked on at the moment.
2.Enclave II : This project will probably not be released, as the team creating it have many other projects they want to work on, like Mod-Manager and Project Safehouse
DEAD
1. Darkfall : Very promising, but dead. Many of its maps are now in the Sum. Try out the demo, even if it tells some lies, like it is impossible to use science skill on computers (what? Of course it is possible)
2. Revised: I think it is dead.
3. Tallout Tactics 2 : Dead.
4. Some Tweaks For Tactics : A crap.
5. Fallout Resurrection : This mod needs some resurrection.
6. Wastes : The creator of this mod is such a damn good map maker. But mod abandoned. Most of these maps are now in The Sum.
7. Cafe of broken dreams : No file.
8. Open fallout mod : A try to collectively recreate fallout 1 in Tactics. They even implemented an elevator system that is a bit beyond me. Some maps are trully impressive, but they were never used.
9. Children of the Apocalypse 2 : Just can't find it anymore.
Can't believe I didn't know about this website, tactics is a great game just finished a recent play through and have been trying out Awaken ( an old mod ) really looking forward to trying out Last Vegas and the Enclave mods which look to still be in development!
Very excited to see there's an active community for such an awesome game.
RobertHouse, how do you complete the first mission? Also you really ought to write a walk through.
Only bad thing about this game is that you cant speak with people like in Fallout&Fallout 2 :(
In my mod Fallout: Last Vegas you can.
Anyone up for a game of multi? :)
Also is this a point-and-click
sorta game because if it is i'll buy it if its not.....
i'll still buy it lol
Yeah its a strategy game like Jagged Alliance or XCOM.

-Thanks
