The Red Alert, under development by the mod team of C&C Labs, undertakes one of the most ambitious tasks in C&C modding: to recreate and improve upon an original game. The Red Alert, a mod in development for Red Alert 3, is based off the original Red Alert's art and game play. Not aiming to model realism, it instead endeavors to bring the addictive heart-pounding game play of the classic to a world-class 3D engine, to bring back all of the classic units, including those from Aftermath, and to recreate the very "feel" of its art style. Media Release #8
This release isn't as big as I was hoping it would be as most of the updates this month are behind the scenes, but that doesn't mean we don't have some pictures to show. I've finally gotten around to putting the Ore Refinery in the game, which I was procrastinating due to not knowing how the ore system is going to be handled. I still don't know, but I realized it wouldn't matter in the end. Also, despite what I may have said earlier, we are going to have the different countries in the game with their respective minor attribute bonuses; this is due to the fact that it doesn't seem to be possible, at all, to remove Japan thus giving us only two faction, so instead we added some. Anyways, pictures:
Of course, there are more in the images section. I also want to once again assure everyone that both this mod and The Forgotten CnC: The Forgotten are chugging along. Hopefully, both will be ready for release sometime next year. Well, there's nothing else to report, so I'll see you next month.

Well the vehicle must look like the vehicles of Red Alert path of beyond :D
i can guess what Tsumetai will say to that, so I won't stop you :)
A vehicle/structure beta (infantry unmodded) would be nice, but the mod team wants to release their mod when they feel it is done well enough.
Be patient. I'm sure they'll release an update soon, and the mod soon after that.

will this mod include single player?
i think most only care about multiplayer online and maybe skirmish (vs computer A.I.).
Could you release a beta or something like that?
I and probably other fans would appreciate that very much!
(could you do a vote for fans or make it possible that fans can help you make it the best by giving feedback like game companies do when they release a Beta)

Progress is slow, but progress is being made. My time is split between this, The Forgotten, college, and Left 4 Dead 2.
