·The: definite article.

·The Red Alert: The original, the only, the true; The Red Alert.
The Red Alert, under development by the mod team of C&C Labs, undertakes one of the most ambitious tasks in C&C modding: to recreate and improve upon an original game. The Red Alert, a mod in development for Red Alert 3, is based off the original Red Alert's art and game play. Not aiming to model realism, it instead endeavors to bring the addictive heart-pounding game play of the classic to a world-class 3D engine, to bring back all of the classic units, including those from Aftermath, and to recreate the very "feel" of its art style. With The Red Alert, epic tank battles, MiG attack runs, and Cruiser strikes will be more than just fond memories — they will all be weapons in your arsenal once again!

The Red Alert mod presents the fifth media release. As usual, I don't have much to say, pictures are better than words anyway. At this point, nearly all the structures are more-or-less complete. The only one that isn't is the Ore Refinery as we're still working out exactly how we're going to handle it, as well as ore nodes, and indeed working out what's even possible. As soon as we get that squared away, we may start hiring for a map maker to remake the classic Red Alert skirmish maps, and perhaps even invent a few new ones (though, mapmakers, please don't contact us until we put out an official job posting).
Anyways, focus has shifted to vehicles, starting with land vehicles. For those who are wondering, infantry will come last as we would like to give EA time to release more infantry-based assets to assist in the infantry making process. Of course, I know what you really want to see, but Mod DB doesn't allow those kind of pictures, so you'll have to settle for some screen shots instead:
I never get tired of that electric glow.... As usual, these are but a few of the pictures, there are eight more in the Images section of the profile. I swear, one of these days we'll get some video footage.... until then, see you next month!

will there be ants?
Awesome!
looking really good guys
any plans on releasing a small video of gameplay footage?
I support that idea! ^^
Perhaps do a small 4-10 min video on top of the usual monthly update? :)
Doesn't have to be anything fancy, just to give us a good view on the game :D
Can you increase the size of the mammoth tank's barrels? At the moment they are smaller than the heavy tanks' which makes it look week.
Nice! RA1 return in ra3!!
But the mining node is not suitable for ra1 instead. [I know this is hard job or it cannot removed due to the original game design]
Keep Going! I am looking forward to your mod!
Ah, I remember playing Red Alert
Never forgot the huge tank spams
I find it mildly amusing that the graphics for the gameplay of this mod is better than the graphics of the CGI cutscenes in the original
Technology has come a far way
So,can these ra1 factions fight with the ra3 factions in game?XD
Probably not, since the original Red Alert only had 2 factions and this mod
aims to recreate the original game.
I'm not part of the team though, so who knows,
maybe they will implant another, different one?
Doubt it though.
