The Red Alert, developed by the mod team of C&C Labs (makes of The Forgotten and C&C All Stars, undertakes one of the most ambitious tasks in C&C modding: to recreate and improve upon an original game. The mod, in development for Red Alert 3, is based off the original Red Alert's art and game play. Not aiming to model realism, it instead endeavors to bring the addictive heart-pounding game play of the classic to a world-class 3D engine, to bring back all of the classic units, including those from Aftermath, and to recreate the very "feel" of its art style. With The Red Alert, epic tank battles, MiG attack runs, and Cruiser strikes will be more than just fond memories — they will all be weapons in your arsenal once again! It was released on September 21, 2011 and was ranked the number one mod on Moddb.

Great map but i found some bugs.

- if tanks are moving on bridge and i destroy it, the tanks will sink to ground and are still alive. they can shoot ships and so on.

I build a new base in top right corner near the south bridge to the middle island. i build allied-defguns there an when they are destroyed i cant build a new on on the same place!?

At the same position at the bridge one building cant entered by infantry.

One of the neat features of The Red Alert is the new maps that we're shipping with the mod. Created by the team of Gren and Drummin, both of the excellent C&C Labs map staff, we're featuring a mix of classic Red Alert maps, a Red Alert 2 map or two, and some original creations. The goal is to foster exciting gameplay, particularly on the asymmetric battlefields that produced lively C&C games in the past. For bonus measure, we've all thrown in the Uprising maps, so you'll never get bored. Here you can see promo images of four of the maps we'll be including.
