In all honesty, me and Meltac were sick and tired of the crappy..ahem.. "sun shafts" Sky4ce implemented, so after much discussion working out how to overcome certain limitations this is the first working example result. Not bad is it? :D

Hehe, yep, short on bandages. And quite always the same savegame, only some time later or at an other position on map.

Many thanks guys, I do my best!

However please note that part of the credits for this feature go to ket as mentioned in the description. Also note this is only a very early test and it's not yet clear whether we'll manage to include this into the final release due to the well-known engine limitations. But I strongly hope so.

Thank you. But the big part of the work is just about to come, namely getting this running smoothly and stably under as many conditions as possible.

Description

This is the first test of an entirely new sun shaft implementation that ket and me have worked out lately. It's still very unfinished at the moment, but if we manage to get this working seamlessly in ShoC it will be some great feature extension I guess.
