Commander, you will be deployed to war shortly. Don't enter the battle unprepared; read the operations manual and brief yourself for the mission at hand.

MOD - LOL! WHERE voiceovers? NOT FULL SOUND! Australia is a small country, why is it? It is better to make China.

Mr.Chasov, go back to play your China in Generals and Zero Hour and stop embarassing yourself here with your ignorance.
The modder himself is an Aussie. One man army who spent over
5 years on first version of this mod.
Aussie faction has perfect story and lore behind itself, mod is provided with fantastic manual and videos.
Ignorance, disrespect,ingratitude,selfishness,capslock.
All grave sins. Punishment- 5 shots from Aussie Devastator cannon. xD

Henford is just one man, and hasn't had the time or resources to get a full cast of voice actors. Perhaps one day, he can recycle some Red Alert voicework and accept volunteer voice acting to cover the rest. But actually fleshing out the content and gameplay should be the priority.

Also, why not Australia? In the mod's backstory, its very survival was threatened by the expansion of the USSR and its allies, and was forced to rapidly militarize the country to hold its own. That's far more interesting than just grabbing another big country for the sake of it.

As for China, it's considered an ally of the USSR. Adding it as its own faction is unnecessary when there is already a playable USSR faction.

Ty Madin, this is great ^_^ I have noticed something strange tho. I've played all sides and the USSR has the biowaste weapon on the sidebar. Its weird because I had it start out dropping ordinance in an "every-other-plane" pattern. Then I tried again and two planes dropped in a row. Then again 2 or 3 planes in a row, then another plane failed to drop etc. I'm unsure why this anomaly. I've not had this experience w/ other weapons from any faction. But Ty for this great mod :D

Just a few questions:

- Will you add sci-fi elements from Red Alert series such as for example Tesla/Chrono/Cyro technology?

-I saw your TOS-1 Solntsepyok. Do you plan to make a "Buratino" upgrade(With more missiles)?

TOS-1A "Solntsepyok" IS a "Buratino" upgrade with less rockets, but more range.

Is C&C3; hard to mod compare to other games?

Jafod Jul 7 2015, 12:26pm replied:

It's more difficult than newer games, yes.

1. If you're wanting to add new features that aren't originally in the game, you have to create your own new code. With newer engines they have coding for games that don't even use it (Take Skyrim for example)

2. The Models can't be as smooth (due to the poly count needs to be much lower). The reason for this is that C&C has no unit Cap, so if a single unit is spammed (say a tank), the sage engine won't be able to handle nearly as many of that unit without major performance loss.

3. Since this is an RTS, Balancing is a huge part of the game: otherwise it's not fun.

4. Modeling in and of itself is a long process, and then comes the texturing process. Both together take forever to do.

Now, I only know this because I am part part of Secret Reality.

Anyways, Henford, still one of the better mods here for Tiberium wars. Keep up the good work, man.

So that's why modders still mod older games like zero hour and red alert 2 etc because it's quicker and simpler

Jafod Jul 9 2015, 11:56am replied:

Modelling with less Polys is more difficult. You have to try and make your model look good, while keeping the count down. It is extremely difficult to do, and frustrating. Believe me.

On newer engines (I.E. Cryengine) you can have as many poly's as you want. And, like Zocker said, the coding part is substantially more difficult than others due to it being xml. It is not quicker, nor is it simpler. Newer Engines are much easier to work with, and so are newer games as most of them are .ini code, rather than .xml

Zocker4ever Jul 7 2015, 4:57pm replied:

I think it is more difficult to get in and because everything is written in xmls rather than inis it can be quite intimmidating to other cnc games.

The most difficult part is the learning experience where you need to find out how exactly everything works together, once you managed to graps this, it's very straight forward. However, you will need some dedication.

Ok first of all the sfx added are just delicious and CNC Fallout is similar to Generals which is my favorite of all C&C games well 2nd only to Red Alert 2. The game makes me feel powerful unlike vanilla and Kane's Wrath because their super weapons and explosions are puny. In Fallout, explosions really light 'em up and supers along with tactical powers make the loudest boom! Basically, everything packs a punch! However, there are some things I would like to point out that might improve the immersion…
