It's more difficult than newer games, yes.

1. If you're wanting to add new features that aren't originally in the game, you have to create your own new code. With newer engines they have coding for games that don't even use it (Take Skyrim for example)

2. The Models can't be as smooth (due to the poly count needs to be much lower). The reason for this is that C&C has no unit Cap, so if a single unit is spammed (say a tank), the sage engine won't be able to handle nearly as many of that unit without major performance loss.

3. Since this is an RTS, Balancing is a huge part of the game: otherwise it's not fun.

4. Modeling in and of itself is a long process, and then comes the texturing process. Both together take forever to do.

Now, I only know this because I am part part of Secret Reality.

Anyways, Henford, still one of the better mods here for Tiberium wars. Keep up the good work, man.

Modelling with less Polys is more difficult. You have to try and make your model look good, while keeping the count down. It is extremely difficult to do, and frustrating. Believe me.

On newer engines (I.E. Cryengine) you can have as many poly's as you want. And, like Zocker said, the coding part is substantially more difficult than others due to it being xml. It is not quicker, nor is it simpler. Newer Engines are much easier to work with, and so are newer games as most of them are .ini code, rather than .xml

I think it is more difficult to get in and because everything is written in xmls rather than inis it can be quite intimmidating to other cnc games.

The most difficult part is the learning experience where you need to find out how exactly everything works together, once you managed to graps this, it's very straight forward. However, you will need some dedication.

But i like to address some issues that may have already been addressed.

1. Support abilities sometimes dont work, especially for USSR, the plane would just simply fly over an do **** all only to waste time and money. Which can be a extreme issue in dia situations.

2. Balance.
Example, my USSR army (20ish rocket troopers and 2 warfortress tanks full of rocket troopers and then some) was completely stomped by one of those large kirov airships, i felt cheated.
USSR to me seems the weakest and undeveloped team to use simply because they have crappy base defenses and no constant regenerating funds like the other teams. (i could be wrong i havnt played the game long).

3.I would also adress some of the prices all round, this game is EXPENSIVE. anything priced over 3k for a single research or unit seems quite steep.

Im still quite new to this game so i probably need to adapt more to its play style but those are my issues with it. Thanks

Harvesters productivity rate and income per one full harvester load bug:
Three times tested.
Ore = 3240 credits.
Gold = 6480 credits.

Ore = 3780 credits.
Gold = 7560 credits.

Ore = 3120 credits.
Gold = 6240 credits

Why is Soviet harvester so OP? Should not be able to get rank.
You said harvesters has different statistics also in health/armor, movement speed, harvesting speed, right?
And why Aussie harvester can carry more resources than NATO?

Ok first of all the sfx added are just delicious and CNC Fallout is similar to Generals which is my favorite of all C&C games well 2nd only to Red Alert 2. The game makes me feel powerful unlike vanilla and Kane's Wrath because their super weapons and explosions are puny. In Fallout, explosions really light 'em up and supers along with tactical powers make the loudest boom! Basically, everything packs a punch! However, there are some things I would like to point out that might improve the immersion…
