What would happen if in 1988, Soviet Leader Mikhail Gorbachev was assassinated? CNC Fallout is a total conversion mod for Command and Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars that postulates this very question.
Another new unit for v0.3, this time for NATO.
The MQ-9 is a highly mobile and cheap to produce unmanned drone, designed for long range surveillance and threat detection and neutralisation. Equipped with an advanced sensor package, it is able to scan a large area around itself revealing a significant portion of shroud. Upon detecting an enemy unit, the MQ-9 will autonomously seek out and attempt to neutralise it with its payload of AGM-114 Hellfire missiles.
Of course, we wouldn't want these drones to go all Skynet on us; as such, the commander has direct authority to override the drone's battle computer and direct targets where need be.
Do these take up airfield slots or are they summoned in with a support power and then you can select and control them?
You purchase them from the Tactical Command Center and that's it. They don't require an airfield slot.
Soviets has Reaper Cyborgs. It will not mind?
MQ-9 UAV is primarily for stealth detection?
Removing shroud sounds kind of redundant to me when you have
Spy Sattelite upgrade which removes all shroud everywhere.
Ahh, AGM Hellfire, my favorite. :-)
There have been several balancing changes made that make this relevant.
PS: In the actual game it is merely called an "MQ-9 UAV" so as to not upset the Soviet Reaper.
Nice, But Weak lookn
Indeed - it's merely a UAV, not an A-10 =P
Perfect.
Two updates in a row o:
Nice work on the reaper, keep it up guys!
"Of course, we wouldn't want these drones to go all Skynet on us"
WHY RESIST YOUR (soon-to-be) ROBOT OVERLORDS, HUMANS?
In all seriousness, though, beautiful work, as always.
Nice stuff here, cool to see more stuff added to this mod. Great job!
DRONE RUSH! Feel America's unmanned power!
It's NATO XP, get it right capitalist pig! )))
So, when can we expect the next update?
