Just pulling an ad hominem fallacy out of your ***, then calling whatever you wrote down right, doesn't make you right. Valid points aren't formed out of the invallidity of others. Plus, what you're arguing IS arguable; BF2142, BF2, and BF2142 are all respectively their own games, the idea that their just reskinned copies of each other completely ignores the fact that each game introduces different elements and has its own playstyles. Using your logic, Half-Life:Half-Life 2 as BF1942:BF2, or even Quake:Quake 2. Now there are things out there that are massive rereleases of the same game I.E, anything tagged EA Sports.

If you haven't even played it, what right do you have to pass such a conclusive judgement? If you did play it you would know that the game mechanics are COMPLETELY DIFFERENT from anypart of the Resident Evil series. For starters, L4D is strictly a multiplayer game. you can play solo, but you still will have the bots tagging along. Secondly, L4D takes no story elements from RE at any rate, L4D barely even has a story. I would list more of them stated out in a whole sentence, but the game has a completely different perspective, atmosphere, and overall gameplay, period. Comparing the two just because they both have zombies in it isn't fair to either game. If you're going to troll, atleast bring a decent argument.

The fact that he happened to use instances with airstrikes rather than infantry is completely and utterly irrelevant, his point was that it happens, and just because you happen to be a 'teammate' won't save you from an explosion or a gunshot. What happens when you shoot a gun? It fires a small metal round that moves very fast and can potentially kill you when hit, no matter who it hits. Now, lets say that it's night time, in a forest, with some fog. Let's say there are two units moving into an enemy controlled patrol post. These units get lost while navigating through the forest. Instead of colliding at the post to storm it, they meet earlier, and in the midst of thier confusion, one unit thinks that they've come across an enemy patrol from the post. So the unit opens fire blindly firing into the mist hoping to score a hit. They do, only figuring out moments later they just wiped out a friendly squad.
Thats obviously a fabricated example, but it's not completely out of reach. r0ker, stop being a ****, calling everybody who knows atleast partially what thier talking about kiddies, grow up.
Friendly Fire is a part of real war, however GRIEFING is part of a game. Not a lot you can do to stop that.

it has nothing to do with steam, i run the non-steam version and it doesn't work either, but then again they might be different problems.

awsome update, i love the awsome new character/hero conflictions, and the bits and peices of stories they reveal, also if you havn't bought mount and blade yet, buy it now, before it costs $40 at release!
actually, i like the way it sounds, like a great puzzle, and finally a better way to do some real trading, and also i have a suggest that would fill me with content, make it to where you could load carts of stuff with items and goods, and take your horses and go on caravans and the latter, but seeing as this is just a spare time project i don't know if thats a little to ambitious or not =p, but good luck with it
good job, the models were really nice, sounds were great, and the gore effects and death poses i liked as well, but one thing i noticed was, if i was far away enough or peeking around a corner the AI acted extremely unresponsive, slow to start attacking. and other then a few hiccups here and there, i thought it was pretty good. i hope in your next release you guys will touch upon options to tune mouse sensitivity and volume, etc.
p.s: make the AI more accurate too, i found that they missed many shots up close
i good while back, played it wtih a friend and got really competitive,
but i took it off cause there were never really anybody on and it wasn't so much fun to play alone... i'm thinking about reinstalling it, but if you're completely finished with it(no updates left to do no more mapping or anything, no new content for later ideas for the mod ect.), i'm not sure

and also when are you guys planning on realeasing an alpha or closed/open beta?

Titan quest is much more balanced than many other single player rpg's.
I hate and love zombie mod equally, so i'm ok with it ;)
it can sure be bloody hell fun.
but it's extremely repetitive gameplay gets boring after a while.
umm i want to try it out but when i try to instal it says i'm missing a library, and it also says that the file is corrupted, i've tried reinstalling/redownloading refuses to work.
one word: inertia.
unknown try reinstalling it loads up fine on my computer.
I give a 10/10 in gameplay for sheer inginuity and innovation to simple click-shoot-kill,
A 10/10 in graphics for awsome visuals,
and 10/10 in sounds because yes the sounds were well done.
can't wait for the later versions.

no one gots any servers game looks great but i can't find any one to play it with(or any servers to play on). someone set a server up!
maybe you could become a food critic rather then judge mods. that way you wouldn't "sux", then you wouldn't try to approach and attack anything with bad grammer and incorrect spellings of words...

i will admit some of the models are terrible, but who cares?
- you must have some seriosuly badass eyeproblem if you cant see because of stretched out textures
- Your either a flamer or someone who hates funny modding, so if your a flamer your really just a ****, please go and die
-the reason there are stretched textures is because stretched textures look like ****, they're often slightly lopsided, funky, wide, losta patterns, and often depending on what happens around them affects the fun of the game, i dont have an example ..but it's provable
- im seeing people get angry bucause graphics look bad? comparisons to quake and HL1? i don't know about you guys, but both of those games are beyond kickass, and quake was the first fps for godsake, so really i think thats a compliment.
