I just installed the latest full version and joined a server, and all the text was artifacting. I restarted mod and same thing.

Base game doesn't have the issue though, anything I'm doing wrong here?

Just wondering how hiring lances work? I've hired several captains of companies, then when I go to either the camp or the nearby town to pick up the men, I can't find any option to do so (recruit doesn't work).

Does anyone have an issue where they can't see groups to command when they press button, and kills don't appear on screen along with rewards?

Appreciate the reply. Unfortunately there isn't an option for shield bash in the game options :(

Good mod, 2 questions:

1. Is there a way to disable shield bash? I die so often because I accidentally shield bash after waiting for the shield cooldown.

2. What is the purpose in buying acres of land? I can't figure out a way to interact with this yet.

Scratch #1. Tried the fix in below comment and this seemed to work.

How do you get rid of wounds? seem to be permanently down a point.

Great mod overall, love the attention to detail. Just a couple of irks:

- Battles seem to crash whenever a large host is in them. I've followed what others have said on this page and turned down everything to low (inc battle size). Machine is only a couple of years old and still pretty ok (7870, 8gb ddr3, quad 3.4ghz. Is this a bug?

- Every time I lose a battle my items get beat, and I can never find enough funds to buy a new sword. Been running around naked with a stick for some time hoping my weakling soldiers carry me to victory :(
Would be nice if there were a couple of entry level weapons to buy/loot (paying 300 for a stick is crazy!)

Other than that, no other complaints, keep up the good work!

I would pick this mod up in a second if it was for warband.

is the version on moddb the latest release? or are there lots of files that need to be downloaded and added to the first release?

if it's as good as it looks, It'll be groundbreaking. Give them all the time they need or you'll be complaining the games incomplete/bug ridden.

I prefer .exe to rar files. That way I dont have to look up where to install jkja mods on yahoo answers.

Because I'm pretty keen for some crossfire deathmatch know what I'm sayin :-D

if it's anything like the first it'll probably become the best game in my collection.

Very professional mod.
Some of the levels are very very challenging.
I think a few areas of various maps should be looked at as sometimes there is no room for error which can become a tad frustrating.

I've played esf (along with dmz) in the past, but I've since lost my hl1 copy (and dont intend on buying another :-S )

Great mod though. the hl2 equivalent (dms) has nothing on this.

the 'hl2 multiplayer' is half life 2: deathmatch.
I'd suggest you get orange box and Counter Strike for better multiplayer though.
