ESF Is a Fast Paced, 3rd Person Fighter Based On The Hit Anime, Dragonball Z

Select your favorite character and fly, power up, transform, melee, and beam your enemies into pulp. Each character is given signature moves and abilities to compliment different style of play. Some are stronger in hand to hand combat, others are better with energy attacks. Play in three different game modes, deathmatch, team deathmatch, and capture the dragonballs. There is a learning curve so newbies beware. This is not your normal Half-life mod.

Sick of waiting for ESF:F to come out? Want to help speed up the process? Well here's how you can help.

Are you a skilled modeler or know someone else who is? Well contact us on our team speak server and ask how you can help.

We are mostly looking for people who can help work on our remaining characters. This will require creating a character model, building UV maps and fully texturing the model.

Please provide some samples of your work and be prepared to take on a project from start to finish. Please do not contact us if you are not prepared to follow through and complete your set task. It costs the development team time to train new artists on ESF's custom systems setting us further behind.

We are also looking for environment modelers (Mappers), Object modelers (To make the maps more lively) and Music Composers.

Team Speak can be downloaded from here

Our Team Speak server is you will normally find somebody from the team idling there. Raven and Mastasurf are the best people to contact.

We hope to hear from you soon.

You guys need to FCUKING chill OK? Everyone whining "OoooOOOOoOo~ release it already guuuys" has obviously never even TRIED, not even TASTED making a fcuking game before. They are TRYING as hard as they can (as far as I know) so lay off, like there's not enough Dragon Ball and porn to hold you down, you know with DB, DBZ, DBZ Battle of The Gods, DBZ Resurrection of F, and DB Super. CHILL

If no cash or anything is involved , why not make the source code public ? its the only logical thing to do , what harm will come with it ? if anything people will try their hand at fixing things

Grega, you know why this ******** with people whining in the comments section is happening? Because you guys aren't transparent with the community. It doesn't matter what you're doing, if it's free, if it's done on your free time or not, you've made it public the moment you made a page on MODDB. Obviously, people expect some news after seeing their favorite project go quiet, and they'll rile up if you refuse to do so.

Don't get me wrong, Grega. I think you're awesome just by replying to comments here, and I know the mod isn't dead. But you should know that this would all end if you were just to release, well, anything.

Why can't you guys release a new trailer, or atleast tell us why you're not doing so? It costs you nothing. A little transparency is all we ask.

Dalte is working on the trailer. The preview for the trailer is the vid a few posts down.

As for transparency. Nothing really changed. DT is still tackling the animations, the end of the school year is still keeping most people occupiued, and ATIs Open GL support is still screwing us every chance it gets (not to mention the CCC crashes the drivers constantly and not only in ESF either).

There just isnt much going on we can show or tell about really.

That's cool, but if you guys are experiencing issues with ATI drivers, don't be afraid to tell it to us! We revel in that kind of information, it's good to know how things are going.

Grega Jun 16 2015, 8:26pm replied:

Believe me its not just us. AAA titles are having serrious issues. Heck its a constant issue with ATI drivers since Watch Dogs was released. That game had a serrious ATI instability crash problem even over half a year after its release. GTA V, Witcher 3 all games that are graphically demanding are crashing the drivers. Could be one of the shaders that we are also using or something totally unrelated.

In ESFs case the game crashed the moment you start to swoop. Strangely it doesnt happen if you shut down the CCC. And installing the drivers without the CCC also improoves stability greatly. But thats not something the end user should be forced to do if the company bundles the thing in an installer to begin with.

ATI is getting really bad lately.
