After two chartbusting efforts on Xbox, the enigmatic, genetically enhanced Spartan soldier known as Master Chief makes his highly anticipated Xbox 360 debut in Halo 3. The sci-fi shooter picks up where Halo 2 abruptly left off: The Covenant is continuing its plans to activate the Halo super-weapon and obliterate the galaxy; Earth is in utter disarray with only a few remnants of its armies intact; and the Flood grows stronger and more aggressive with each passing day. Your mission, as Master Chief, is to repel the Flood's advances, save Earth, and stop the Covenant -- no matter what the cost.

Halo 3 is good, the campaign was ok, but the game overall is under rated imho -- a shame, because it's really good, unique.
Why did they not port this?
Becausethen they wouldn't have sold as many of their aging console units. Duh. Why do you think they have taken pretty much the whole franchise Xbox exclusive? Microsoft uses the brand to sell a now over SIX YEAR OLD console. And they intended to do it for YEARS to come! I mean, just look at the last two E3s. Nintendo shows up woth the Wii U and Microsoft has nothing to show. Year later, nothing. This shows that they had absolutely NOTHING in the way of new console development going on. So yeah, Microsoft obviously intended to use Halo and other exclusives to milk the 360 for another four years at least. So yeah, that's why they shafted the pc Halo fans.
Can anyone...ANYONE mod the game for PC?
This is the only reason I own a 360.
