News - Spring Game Engine

Spring is an open source RTS engine. Originally designed to run content from Total Annihilation, there are still several popular projects on spring that remake TA and various popular TA mods. Since it's early days the engine has grown significantly as a base for game development, and at this point in time, most modern development standards work for spring, and of those that don't, most will be getting added at some point in the future. Running several different projects covering a wide range of popular RTS genre's and interesting battlegrounds, Spring hopes to be a foothold into the future for the success of open sourced gaming and free to play games.
