Hello everyone and welcome to WGC (When Galaxy's Collide). This is gonna be a very huge mod with different Sci-Fi Themes in the game. The WGC Development team is creating a mod for everyones enjoyment. we have *SGU*TheDestiny making the models, mapping and many other things, CHK_Shepard_9 doing rigging and animations. WGC is currently looking for additional mappers, and anyone who has exprience with unwraping UV and texturing. If you are interested contact me (CHK_Shepard_9) or *SGU*TheDestiny and let one of us know. Also looking for someone to help with Coding, and Particle Editor. SERIOURS MODDERS ONLY.

We will also like to hear your opinions on the faction line up. Was thinking of making a 4th faction, we will let you all decide on that.

WGC is also looking for Serious Modders, anyone who can model, texture, code, use the particle editor, anything like that.. It's a huge mod and we could use some help considering there is only two of us..... FOR NOW..

(Truthfully to my opinion if I bought the game and own it I should be free to do whatever I want to that game. Why?? Because I paid to much money out of pocket that I work so hard for. Yes 50 to 70 bucks is to much money.. I remember when games use to be 5 to 15 bucks... I don't care if the games are great, or if they have awesome graphics.. 50 to 70 bucks is to much money for a game.. but enough ranting lets get back on topic.) Now I will be making two versions of this mod.. One version will be uploaded here on Moddb it will include all the factions that Me and my team decide to add to the mod.. The second version WILL NOT BE UPLOADED TO MODDB, but will be uploaded to another site that I own.. I can't go into full detail as of now but this second upload will include imported models wich is why there isn't gonna be any discussion of it here.. If you don't like the fact of playing with Imported models in FOC then you don't have to download the second mod from my site.. You can download the mod from here.. Those of you that want the imported models.. When the mod is finished just send me a IM and I will send you a link to that mod.. All others can download from Moddb that isn't using the imported models. So for the second version, Halo and Mass Effect will be included.. For the Moddb version, Halo and Mass Effect is a no go..

WGC is in need of help with Models, Textures, Maps, Coding, and Particles.. Don't be afraid to join us.. We are nice people and don't bite.. I'll even be willing to teach anyone how to do coding, and rigging.. As for Maps and Particles, Models, Textures, I need experience modders. If you know how to Model and Texture I'll be more then happy to teach you how to rig the model for FOC.. Any help really would be much appreciated...

Not sure what you meaning.. In one faction there is gonna be other factions.. So lets say Faction 1, has Mass Effect, Halo, Star Trek, and maybe something.. In Skirmish you will be able to control all them.. in GC you will start off as one Faction, and when you uncover other worlds like a planet from Halo, or Mass Effect, you will get special buildable objects to build on that world that will allow you to create the Halo units along with the Mass Effect units and so on. Did that answear your question?

Well, since each world produces its own indigious units (halo planets halo stuff, ME ones ME only stuff etc.), there would be no problem with the command console. That is for GC.
For skirmish, there is an option of making buildable starbases (same as an turret, or you can see in Alliance Mod for FoC). Like, you go and capture an turret build platform, and then build the new units starbase there, from where you can buy different stuff. Kinda like console expansion stations if you will. That method works well with other mods so far.
