Full concept MODIFICATION of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Call of Pripyat that touches every game aspect including textures, sfx, music, weapons, A.I., items, weather, mutants, difficulty and much much more!
Damjan has a special talent of portraying a 'Zone Man' from different angles and perspectives and we are confident that you would have guessed that this had been done by a full set of skilled writers.

As stated many times MISERY will be released with russian speech and english text only.
Several people have contacted the team in the past wanting to translate the mod.
But everyone has abandoned such idea once they had the insight of the workload required.
With this increase in dialogue there will probably never be an official translation of the MISERY mod,
but if you feel the need to attempt such task of translation you are most welcome to contact the team after the release of version 2.0.
Those of you who supported us about the 'real life terms' for HUD tweaks will have your promised previews as well.
These previews will not be included as poll results but as a separate update coming up before long.
We are thankful for your never ending contribution to our work and you will have your HUD insight as promised.
There is definitely no need for an English translation as the Russian voices are more immersive and just sound plain badass
Audio side of things will stay that way. That translation message was only referring to the texted aspects of the mod.
What about English subtitles?
"As stated many times MISERY will be released with russian speech and ENGLISH TEXT only." ......
Nice info team! A bit of dialogue is always enjoyable after a long trip in the Zone.
It was very tempting to do long quotes of the people managing this aspect of the mod.
But it is fair to let them reveal the thoughts and approaches behind this work that they find fit.
There are some extremely delicate subjects, lore and ideas executed in this whole aspect of fiction.
We didn't just add new phrases but expanded on and polished the core Stalker lore and background.
roadside picnick 10/10
lets see if the concept (dark evolution) will be in misery 2.0
You know I've been following this mod since... well Im pretty sure since before the first public release. But I've never really taken part in these polls I don't think. I've always been more than content to just see your teams vision of the mod when it comes. Have I maybe been letting the team down by not contributing?
Fantastic. Once you've played the game a few times you tend to ignore the text, being able to get to know characters and things freshly will be great!
A new quest?! A NEW QUEST?!
That brings the total in the game up to like...10 or something...
God im so pumped! :D
OMFG New quest ???? This is awesome :D
Yesss! :) But...What do you mean when talking about dialogues inspired by Roadside Picknick? Anyway, I'm happy to see new ones...vanilla COP was a bit poor... :)
HALLYLUJAH !
TEAM ! YOU ARE DOING IT RIGHT !
Mmmmh... I think it's time to rename "Misery Mod" to "Omagad Perfection"
awesome i just love the main story of the game and with this? i give this 100/10 :D
Woo! New Quest!!
enhanced dialog sounds great and ha you guys did add a quest:)
It's looking better and better boys. Excited by the progress.
New quests?! O.o you sirs are some kind of S.T.A.L.K.E.R Gods. :D Can't wait for 2.0 :)
Any chance of seeing some remnants of Clear Sky?
The actual dialog in this game is pretty terrible. And I mean the re-written English text. There are so many typos and grammar mistakes, it's almost a pain to talk to certain characters. If you need experienced proofreaders and editors, I would be more than happy to take a red pen to this mess that we currently have.
I prefer playing my Stalker games with the Ukrainian localisation by GSC to make it as realistic as possible. It's more representative of Ukrainian society in that the military and Duty speak Russian, most loners speak Ukrainian, bandits speak a criminal language that is basically a blend of Russian and Ukrainian and so forth. GSC only changed it to Russian to make it more appealing to the Russian market.
I would prefer this hugely to uniform Russian dialogue. Is there any way that I can continue to do this with Misery 2.0?
