Good use of words in the blog.

Interesting that you guys had to make such a post. I didn't think anyone except the Areal team (who severely lack credibility) would point fingers at you and claim you're challenging the stalker series.

Furthermore, even *if* it happened to be inspired or even competitive to stalker I don't see any issues with it. Are there potential legal issues?

Regardless, I support you guys. I feel like I owe you aplenty with the amazing amount of fun given from your renown mod.

It's amazing how people started to bash The Seed and MDT. I never read most of it, what's the point? It was obvious that you were not the bad guys here.
How anyone could say that The Seed is a competitor of any kind to the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series is beyond me.

I wish you continuing success with the seed.

Not sure what happened for you to have to put out such a statement, especially since Areal was just a fake/scam project.

Philosophers of ancient greece had diplomacy tactics that when you are out of arguments in conversations then you just tell everybody that your oponent have smelly feet(put whatever insult you want here) . And suddenly noone talks about real issues, everyone starts to talk about your oponent's smelly feet regardless if that is true or not.

When N.Aaroe pointed out issues with Areal project, West games started with various accusations towards MDT Ltd., with hope that noone will ask about real problems.

Unfortunately for them, covering their lies with more lies didn't work.
If you want to be successfull software developer on the long run, you have to be honest with your users. Regardless if you develop some mod for free, or you are producing some AAA title.

You never know if you are at some point turn from free mod development to commercially title and if you were dishonest with users in past that will fireback on you.

The Seed is more inspired by the movie The Road than inspired by Stalker series (as the MDT said from the begining). I dont expect to see mutants and anomalies in The Seed, becouse the MDT said, that it wont be similar to Stalker.

I dont blame any other game, but we have the game called Survarium. It is way more inspired by Stalker, it has anomalies, artifacts and the feel of the game should even be more like Stalker. But still it is an original game and I support it.

I saw the movie I mentioned before and that is what I expect from The Seed. This project is as unique as it can get and noone can blame it for coping something, becouse that just isnt true.

The Seed doesn't take place in the Chernobyl in the first place...

Unless I am mistaken.

Articles around the web, since the advent of the controversial AREAL project by West Games
have presented our new project The Seed as competitive and as directly inspired by the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series.
We'd like to clear up some of these statements, since they are very obviously not in line
with what we presented at our successful Kickstarter and what we are aiming to do. We are not competitors,
we have to stress that. Read more: Mdtseed.com
