The L.U.R.K. team wants to provide the best possible experience from Stalker: Shadow of Chernobyl, we don't plan to skew the scope of this game, because I, like many others, fell in love with the game because of the story, the realistic gameplay, and the atmosphere. I plan to preserve and improve on that concept to the best of my abilities, and our team has vowed to do so as well. Which is why we took it upon ourselves to provide that experience. We want to fulfill a niche that's otherwise unfulfilled in the modding community. We want to bring as many features to Stalker without damaging or changing the original theme of the game. While improving upon that concept with features that were dropped off the development cycle from GSC, such as stealth AI, and a strong foundation for balance, as well as dynamic A-Life, and an unprecedented visual presentation that no other Stalker Overhaul can touch.

But I can't get over how nice nice the materials look on the gun, the metal is shiny and the scratches stand out. Again, it looks fantastic! When Daemonionis finished with it, this is going to be even more epic...

I can't comment on the skin, because throughout these past images I clearly states my opinion on both the models and textures. It would probably exceed the 2k character limit if I went in depth with my feelings mil. Well done

Besides material choices and stocks, are there really any differences between the AS VAL and VSS? I was thinking, what's the purpose of taking the scope off the VSS or putting a scope on the AS VAL if they basically are the same weapon? If I was the one coding LURK I would just make a cobra sight attachment for the AS VAL and keep the VSS with it's ironsights and a attachable PSO, since the game will only allow one optical attachment per weapon.

Yes, you are right, AS "Val" and VSS "Vintorez" are the same weapon systems. They were made on the same factory, after production engineers examine barrels and weapons with exceptional precision receive VSS name. Meanwhile AS is more suitable for full-auto fire - full-auto on VSS is used only in extreme situations. Both AS and VSS require a good maintenance after shooting to keep excellent accuracy.
For VSS and AS there are PSO-1-1 and PSO-1M2-01 scopes - there completely different from PSO-1.

This mod puts S.T.A.L.K.E.R. to the new level of graphics. I haven't see much beatiful mod for this game (And I've seen a lot of mods, trust me).
I know russian language, so if u need some mods from AMK-Team or something, just write me. I've seen there some new interesting mods, "New Sleep" and other.
Really want to help this mod be the BEST OF MODS.
