The L.U.R.K. team wants to provide the best possible experience from Stalker: Shadow of Chernobyl, we don't plan to skew the scope of this game, because I, like many others, fell in love with the game because of the story, the realistic gameplay, and the atmosphere. I plan to preserve and improve on that concept to the best of my abilities, and our team has vowed to do so as well. Which is why we took it upon ourselves to provide that experience. We want to fulfill a niche that's otherwise unfulfilled in the modding community. We want to bring as many features to Stalker without damaging or changing the original theme of the game. While improving upon that concept with features that were dropped off the development cycle from GSC, such as stealth AI, and a strong foundation for balance, as well as dynamic A-Life, and an unprecedented visual presentation that no other Stalker Overhaul can touch.

Love your work! Even if I can't wait for playing 1.2, take all the time you need to release a polished mod. You seem to go so deep into details that it could be the best SoC expérience out there!
Any news about the other gameplay aspects?

Panzerdraco said he plans on making a video on gameplay stuff soonish, I wouldn't really know much about that.

Hans, I have to ask because it's my favourite assault rifle of all times, are you going to port it to New Vegas too?.

What about other STALKER games? I'd love to see most of these weapons in Clear Sky and Call of Pripyat, especially this beautiful brute. I love my plum furnitured-AKs! Awesome job!

The metal looks just awesome. Looks like a zone AK should look like. Awesome work.

Just a question out of curiosity, but is there anything random schmucks like me might be able to do to help out with development?

Say, if low poly models of weapons would be helpful at all, someone like me with a bit of free time might whip up a couple to be helpful. I know I'd like to try my hand at making an M9 (using your techniques and videos for guidance), for example.

Or, since you're using "outside" models (as in, not making all your own models), maybe someone like me could scope out modding sites for resources that may be helpful, so you could contact their makers about using them in the mod; if you think that would be anything other than a waste of time and/or massive headache. I know I could find some nice looking Glocks and M4-type weapons on FPSBanana, for example.

I prefer the furniture to match the magazine, but any form of 74 is good with me. I think it's my favourite assault rifle, for reasons I can't completely articulate.

Cause the AK is simply badass and reliable under any circumstances? I know your feel bro :D
Also you should know that the furniture and magazine still WIP are :P
