Hello everybody we've got good news and bad news,
but first of all, we rename Airbørn to "Airbørn-Forever", which will be the bestest game ever.
Ok now seriously (it was a joke!) the bad news is, we are going to delay the first demo of Airbørn to a date that still has to be determined. We are not joining MSUC in Phase 3, which will be today.
However as one of us is also also working on his Dominance War IV entry and some of us are bound to E3 deadlines we will wait to go on with the environment till that is over.
Now for the good news, we've been contacted by game development studios that seemed to be interested in Airbørn, who we are and what this project is about.
So instead of pumping the demo out in the state it is right now, we will polish whats there and add more gameplay, as right now its more like a art and tech demo, with lots of unfinished parts and untouched spots.
The demo won't be big but at least bigger as it is right now.
We are currently working on getting the controls to look and feel really good, we also will implement a new 3d userinterface and add some quests to the demo.
So we have a real but short game instead of just an artdirection demonstration.

Awesome man, can't wait for it.
Congrats on the attention you're getting for this project. I've been following this one for a bit and it's developed really quickly. I hope you guys are able to get it published for the masses. Definitely AAA quality work here, can't wait to see more and hear a date on the demo.

very nice mod!
looks like a dream to me.
Just curious if your using beast at all for the lighting?
as beast costs a hell lot of money and i have no idea if it's connected to UT (unreal 3 of course, but ut, dunno), no there is no beast usage :)
i was looking into beast after seeing what it did for mirrors edge but yeah just wondering just because you might have access to it being in the game development arena :p
i doubt beast would even work with just the mod version of Unreal
So much content lately, I'm really getting excited to see some working game play. What are the ideas for some of the weapons? Is it going to be mostly air combat and grounding for missions or a mix? Is it safe to assume this will be real time fighting and not turn based?
right now we are just doing the basic ground gameplay and artdirection for the whole ground setting, the airstuff will come anytime after we are done with the ground part, i hope we can get a good mixture between ground and air gameplay, but really there will be nothign final anytime soon
