I have a lot of interest in Half-life and S.T.A.L.K.E.R. modding. These are two franchises that sit above anything else in gaming. Also interested in M&B Warband and Deus Ex modding, among others. I'm a really huge fan of these franchises, as well as franchises like Metro, Mass Effect, Tom Clancy's games, The Elder Scrolls and Fallout.

It crashes loading the levels, due to some textures/geometry only working DX9 or above. DX8 is indeed very limited.

Also that map was really great. Only thing I nitpcicked was how far Darkscape was from the Cordon. Maybe it could be fixed by rotating that zone a little? Probably it's just me who noticed it :/

This is one of the mods I'm most excited for, no doubts. Good luck with development :)

I had the feeling that some passages (doors, corridors) were too tall in relation to the player. This was most perceptible in the end when the switch was clear pretty above the player's head.
Other than that, I like the overall look of it.

Even if you do really want to dissociate, I'd the like if at least the releases were posted here. People who wanted to follow the news could subscribe to the mod's website. We could still get the content.

Den-Stash is working on it and that's enough to put me on board.
Really hope it is something in the style of Shorohov Valley and Spatial Anomaly.

The fact that it unfolds in only three locations is a plus for me, because I think it helps a better and intriguing story that doesn't drag on for too long. It's more focused.

I'm so eager to play this mod :D

The author is definitely not a very good english speaker. He works alone, and I bet the rooms were in fullbright for the sake of testing.
This screen shows different WIP maps and I see nothing wrong about that.

I think that weapon bobbing can only be implemented through a script. You should search OLR for that, or maybe even speak with the author of REBIRTH 2.0 (he initially had a small mod for weapon bobbing).

You could also try contacting the Lost Alpha devs, as they could help with these features, since the SoC sourcecode is now open source.

Yeah, PR seems to be inheriting some of MSO's qualities.

I too would rather MSO as a whole, but, truth be told, that mod isn't known for it's stability and there are some glaring glitches in it.
