What is up with "Moon walking" NPC's in this mod? Their legs are barely even moving and they are already walking at a running speed. It looks hilarious, but I'm pretty sure stalkers aren't trying to be Michael Jackson wannabes in the zone or maybe its all western spy secret brain-washing machine taking effect on them.

As referred in manual, they are more fast (and better in all comparate to default) but anyway Player has always an average speed more high than them. And technically he is not (rightly) a "champion", needing about 13 sec. to run 100 meters.
Have fun, if you play Elite. No brain washing machine inside.

Oh. Ye. Next ver. 'll have a laser gun, plasma pistol, an atomic bomb, a personal teleport, a starship after the last level, armour like Iron man (as minimum), women, cottages with gardens and pull, limousine and cadillac, a special boat near the sea, the sea, a personal jet, parties every night... :)
And sure someone ll want more and other. But why none want "less"?... Need think about.
And by the way.. quality.. NOT quantity. About all. And always.

no offence but gunslinger mod has more weapons and will have 2 difficulties easy and hard .

Lol.. no offence absolutely. And I never said ELITE has more weapons comparate to others. But the contrary :) For me.. to a weapons quantity I prefer.. quality.. and other changes/priorities, changing the game really and relatively to...

Hello... Well, mod doesnt touch in any way or interfere with that file (and fist time I notice about that). By the way, you didnt say if it's irreversible or, loading a previous save, all works perfectly again.
Also, you didnt say if you use the NO DVD option. If yes, the only explanation can be that (and if you didnt change anything in mod)

For me, weapons are too much, on the contrary. Not an opinion, but a fact. Enemies types are less than available weapons. And 90% of pistols are practically unused.
Let me know about your problem in X18.

hi, sorry for the post, this happened once or twice, and after reloading saves works fine, just thought it would be usefull to improve thats all.

i agree with you about the weapons, most pistols are unused, but balancing them with something not so game- breaking would be cool imo, i love your mod, it makes you remember the fear to be in the zone, but with those outposts that kills you, the linear progression, the enemy that requires a whole mag or a full shotgun load to die in the head is just not good

Naaa.. outposts are very very good (and necessary also, to give them more logic sense) as the linear progression. Plus, they trigger also some added dialog, and slightly change the usual "story".
And about the whole mag.. well.. you can say that (and I accept it), but just because you are not accustomed to kill hard (...) enemies with no super (...) weapons.
That is. More you play Elite, more you "understand" it. Using the fast single shot also and not always (and the tooooo easyyyy..) "A" mode.
For that also ELITE needs more time. No hurry.

About pistols, in next ver. maybe I 'll rise up (proportional, and for all) their damage (not the price) for a better balance and generic "use".
Now I dont know how much.. (need tests). Though I can guess it 'll be +5/+15%.

this is sure one of a kind, i could give some suggestions but is not my mod and is perfect the way it is, waiting for next version!!!

This mod keeps everything simple but adding just the right addons that adds great atmosphere to the game like alife.
Keep up the great work _xMAX_, I really enjoy this great mod!
