in some further testing, i got in the first vent on the left in survivor mode and watching the motion tracker, it seemed the alien made a beeline for that particular vent not too long after. on a second try, the alien again made a beeline to the vent, but then disappeared, reappearing outside the vent exit when i moved to leave, killing me. might need some tweaking but i'll test some more. fantastic work btw, before you could sit in the vents all day and the alien wouldn't know what to do.
also saw an AI editing tool on here (moddb) so might use that to tweak some of this more to my liking.
EDIT: another few test runs and the alien definitely seems to be making a beeline for whatever vent you're in, at least when tested on the first vent in survivor mode. will try others to see if this is still the case (maybe its the motion tracker? doubt it though, will test)
oh hey this is real nifty! thanks for putting this together, cant wait to make some personal tweaks to alien behavior!!! also, why is the download file on here just a github link? (why bother putting it in a zip file and uploading, why not just link it in the description or something? just curious :P).
hi, love some of the ideas in the mod but not a terribly big fan of insane difficulty. mainly just like the idea that the alien can now use the same vents you do. any chance you can release a version that removes limits on the alien's behavior without increasing other difficulty factors? (or at least tell me which files allow for the alien to use crawlspaces/vents)

the 0.9 part 2 and 9.1 patch files are named exactly the same (Third_Age_Reforged.1.rar). makes it a little confusing if you downloaded all both parts and the patch at the same time

you know what would make an epic submod for this? a complete redo of the map, untis, and UI to look like the TV series opening. would be really freaking sweet
eh, i'd say Warband also has pretty good combat. its not as visceral or satisfying as chivalry but the sword mechanics feel more realistic.
how does it compare to BFX?

um... techinically you cant play the game without steam :P UNLESS you did something that would techinically be illegal....
does putting the BAI on hard still make it cheat?

Eversince the release of darthmod rome total war, (which was absolutely AMAZING), i have installed this mod on every total war game to date before even trying the vanilla versions of the game. keep up the amazing work
im having a bit of the problem. my radar wont pick up the jump gates so i have to find them and target them manually for the radar to pick it up. any solutions?
i love bieng able to change the unit sizes. 3x the normal size leads to some epic battles
anyone know if the ships will actually move around during combat for once?
its quite different. its completely campaign/historical realism focused with no tactical battles.
since you are making the maps much more massive, i can only assume you are also upping the unit cap for armies? and will tactics such as flanking actually make a difference compared to the vanilla? if so... then beware my Crane's Wing Formation :D !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
oh, and will you reduce the timeflow to be a bit slower (it goes quite fast in vanilla oblivion)
