PeZBOT is a multiplayer bot-mod for Call of Duty 4 and World at War. The aim of the mod is to introduce A.I. to local multiplayer games so those who choose not to go online or prefer to practice against bots before doing so, can.

The newest released version of PeZBOT for Call of Duty 4 or World at War will always be available in the "Downloads" section, here on ModDB.

The source code for PeZBOT 011p (CoD4) and 005p (WaW) has now been released. I had initially wanted to release versions 012p and 006p but have lost interest in modding and have moved on to other games. This will likely be the last update here, though I may occasionally check back. I have (or will) create some new forum sections for sharing your custom PeZBOT versions.

I don't know if anyone is still watching this, but I'm trying to change the bot's behavior to make them more realistic / consistent. I can't find the following settings in the code:
1. What causes the bots to shoot.
2. Where the bots decide to shoot (hitloc).
3. The bots' accuracy.
4. The bots' damage + multipliers.
5. The distance from the bot to the target.
6. How they avoid shooting through walls.
I'm not a modder and I don't know this specific language, although it's not too different from what I'm used to. I'd release any changes I'd make.

1. freezecontrols(false) causes the bot to shoot because the bots always want to shoot, so freezecontrols(true) stops them from firing

Hey bro, what would be awesome is if the bots would act like actual online people in COD 4, right now they're jittery and kind of odd. Like watch one of the killcams when they kill you. They keep on like changing their weapons back and forth really fast, it looks really, really weird. If its possible, I myself would like to make them behave more realistically. Also, for some reason, playing S+D with them and having the AI have the bomb makes them teleport all over the map, pretty much ending the round in 15 seconds or less, unless u can kill them before then.

PezBots has much to improve on, like the fluidity of bot movement, but otherwise they suffice in providing a satisfactory offline multiplayer experience.
